I really liked Plot, but I hear it's completely different from most of his books.

I liked Iris Murdoch's The Black Prince. Shall have to read one of her other books one of these days

I am exactly the same with The Bonfire of the Vanities, not a easy book to get into, but refuse to give it up. Been reading it in and out over the last 6 months!!! Only 120 pages to go :-)

BTW the back matter in the critical edition has massive spoilers (when will I learn?)
