I think I've mentioned this before why Sky had the same issue, but the Create a Thread link (The top has 3 links: "all", "new", "unread", selecting new takes you to the above link) allows you to pick a folder, including those with no posts.
Until a folder has posts in it, it's not visible. And folders with older posts will eventually age off the front page (I think) or at least there are maximum number of groups.
Alternatively if you click the "new topic" link inside a group, which is what I assume you did Bill that will automatically select the current folder for you, but really it's the same page.
That's my GI-Joe moment for the day.
Also I moved the D&C group up to the top.

City of Blades might be out this year? I'm a bit confused on the dates..It sounds like Tor is saying it'll be out a few months AHEAD of the UK release and the UK release is 8/6/15? Or maybe they mean a few months after?
Either way I'm reading it when it comes out.

I hate how the English language version of things aren't out at the same time all the time. It seems silly in this day and age. Presumably different publishers though.
And I'm still not clear on the release date..

Also in! I don't think it was planned as a series, and, from what I've read, it's more like two stand alone books. Don't think there will be much crossover aside from Mulaghesh (probably butchered that)

Right, to get back to the topic at hand - I can't tell when it's out either. Thought there might be an issue with the way the release date was written (UK style being 6/8/15, which can be easy to misread when going quickly from an American perspective) but that isn't it at all. Have googled around a bit and looked at Bennett's website and can't see anything that explains the difference between Tor's UK date and the 2016 GR date.

Do they still actually change phrases for American editions? That is just plain idiotic. I thought they stopped doing that. Although, I'm Canadian, so what do I know? We usually end up with the British editions here anyway (at least most of what I have usually seems to indicate that).

Never heard of it. And since you didn't use a book link,I probably never will. Because I'm super lazy right now..

But it's definitely worth checking out. Actually might do a reread of Grim since I don't remember much from it

That implies you use the shitty app to post to the forums. Eww.I use chrome on my phone and tablet.

You use Chrome browser and then go to GR or the chrome app?
I don't understand your question. What's the difference between the Chrome browser and the Chrome app? Unless you mean the web browser on a computer?
I get email notiifcations and they open up chrome instead of the goodreads app. Does that answer your question?

I was wondering how you got to Chrome through your phone, if it was the default browser. Cuz I have safari and I don't much care for it
Oh. See that's your first problem You use Apple. :-P
Android lets you make whatever you want the default browser. Though chrome is the default. But you can use firefox or opera or whatever.
The phone is less easy than the tablet, but not too bad and I have bookmarks. I generally don't browse the site on my phone though. Just check and sometimes respond to notification emails.

Sweet, so maybe tentatively schedule it for middle of June? We can always push it back, seems a lot of good books are coming out the next couple months. I will check the calendar as well so we don't schedule a bunch of things all at the same time like this month

OK. I updated the bookshelf.

Was looking on the calendar for a good time to read the Grim Company and Sword of the North but it looks like the next few months are pretty solidly booked

Also would anyone be up for a walking dead compendium discussion without the scheduled read. I
