"I'm not sure what it is honestly but I do know that I'm dying." Damien said.

"No we don't." He said looking at her.
"I' not going just let me die." He said.

He sighed and looked down. "Fine I'll go." He said sighing
((Grace, I'm sorry, it's been messy but I have only 2 exams left and then freedom!))
Aito walked the paths but his mind was somewhere else as usual.
Three months, it had been that long since he had seen Juniper and she was always on his mind. They had exchanged a few letters and letting him know she was happy made him feel relieved.
As for him, he went back to his old life, as if Juniper was a dream that resolved into thin air overnight. Yet, he wasn't completely the same. People still thought of him as the crazy, free-spirited guy who could cheer up anyone with a broken heart yet Myriad could see through him.
PLus the trips in Hogsmeade now seemed like a bore and they reminded him of his date with Juniper.
There was something missing.
He played around with the small square device on his hand, working on its features, perfecting the small decorations on each side of the wood. He was carefully carving a tree whose roots encircled the rest of the box.
It was for her, he couldn't wait to send it with his next letter. It was finally ready after two months of very hard work.
He heard some random laughing and raised his head to spot what was going on. It was then he saw a bunch of red hair contradicting the white snow of December. ((I figured after three months it's the beginning of winter!))
His mind went blank. "Jun?" he whispered but she couldn't listen, she was still far away. He walked faster and faster until he was practically running to reach her.
"Jun!" he said, this time loud enough for her to see him.

Aito felt her familiar weight on his chest and kissed Juniper softly, not caring that the snow had entered his back.
Juniper was there, she was with him. So many questions ran through his mind but he felt as if he dared to speak this would all go away, like a dream.
He did however help Juniper back on her feet.
"Jun, wh.. how are you here?" he asked excitedly without letting go of her hand.
She was still as perfect as he remembered only there were a few details of winter that made her glow even more. Her white skin remained the same yet the cold cause her cheeks to blush, making her expressions unrealistically beautiful.
The greatest feature however was of course her red hair which this time was set free. With gentle waves cause by the cold air her hair danced gracefully around her and they glowed even more in contrast with the snow.
It was as if you had placed a summer child in the midst of winter, a creature of warmth and sunshine that shines even brighter than the fallen snow.
"I can't believe you're here." he said, smiling gently towards her, her kiss still burning on his lips.

Aito was puzzled for a moment and then he burst into laughter not being able to help it.
"You forgot something?" he said, trying to contain his laughter. "Only you could forget something behind even though you are moving to another country."
Aito didn't even know why he found it so funny but the reason for her comeback was so unexpected that it got him by surprise.
He saw her cracking a smile yet she seemed playfully offended.

Aito's heart sank at the sound of her words. Most of him was filled with joy and excitement, love maybe. But there was still the rational part, a small darkness that was reminding him that she had to go away.
"You won't forget me." he said softly. "I won't let you."
He took her hand and he found them a small bench on the side of the path. He cleaned it off the snow and dried it with his wand. Juniper sat next to him after that and he turned himself towards her.
"I've been meaning to give you this ever since that last afternoon in the Forest." he said, taking out the small wooden box.
"You said you never wanted to forget, me, our tree. So I made sure you won't."
SAying that he placed the box on her hands and touched it with his wand gently.
"Juniper" he whispered and the box came to life. The upper surface came to life and opened in the the middle as if it were a small window.
Inside was forming a small bubble. Juniper leaned in to check it out but bfore she could the bubble burst into a cloud of colorful vapor.
Next thing she knew, she was gazing the forest at sunset, right outside their small house. She could see herself sitting in a small bean bag, writing down something in her notebook. Her hair flared around her shoulders and her eyes were concentrated yet she seemed to be writing in a very graceful manner.
"It will always remind you, even when I'm not with you. You just have to find the right memory and voila" he said.
He sat there waiting for her to speak. He hoped the gift didn't make him seem too creepy.

Aito welcomed her into his arms, being simultaneously happy and sad. He knew she would really love his gift yet there was a reason she should receive it as mail.
When Juniper started crying he regretted giving it to her now, even though he couldn't help it. It was hard enough for her coming back there, let alone seing him and being given something incredibly meaningful.
He hugged her tight. "Juniper, it's okay." he said reassuringly. "You don't have to cry, or be sad. We are lucky because we are magic and with magic always comes greatness."
He pushed her away softly to look her in the eyes, even those big watery ones. "There are so many ways for us to communicate and share our worlds now, so many possibilities.
It doesn't matter where you are, Jun. Whether it's at the steps of the gate in Hogwarts or Beauxbaton." He paused there, not sure if he should continue.
"I'll find you and we'll share tons of green apples together." He smiled widely at the memory of their first meeting and he leaned in and kissed her softly once more.

Aito wiped her tears along with his own and smiled brightly.
"That would be great." he said. "Maybe we will be able to sneak into the forest, even though it will be summer and spend some days in our house."
To the thought of that possibility his chest warmed up.
((Sorry for the short post, I am from my phone.))

Bryssa slipped out the door, into the chilling rain.
"I've actually wanted to go see the Shrieking Shack, if that's ok with you. It's outside, so we'll still be in the rain which will be nice."

Bryssa hid a small smile, and took his arm once more.
"So, Markus. I still don't know you all that well, and I'd like to get to know you. So can you just tell me some things about you?"
She glanced behind her, feeling strangely as if someone was watching.

Bryssa nodded. "My favorite color is blue. Not like bright blue, but sort of the color of the sky right before it goes black, you know?"
She peeked a glance up at him, and he was listening intently.
((No no! Very cute idea! I love it!!))

Bryssa blushed. He obviously got the wrong idea about her staring.
"No. Keep talking, I...I like it," she said lamely, reaching for his gloved hand.
Bryssa did love when he talked. There was something soothing about his voice, and he always knew exactly what to say. It was relaxing.
"Tell me more."
((Would you mind checking out my newish group that I just actually started working on? I began it ages ago and just remembered it.https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...))

"He sounds lovely, Markus." Bryssa smiled, lost in memory.
"When we were little, she would bring me to the beach by are house and she would set up lawn chairs and a big sparkled umbrella that I adored, and we would sit and braid each other's hair and listen to music on the radio. She knew all the songs that came on, and sang them to me. She has the most lovely voice." Bryssa paused, she could almost hear the waves in her mind.
"Sometimes, if I happened to know the song, we would sing together and dance along the shoreline. We would wear shorts and splash each other in the waves. She'll still sing and braid my hair, but no more dancing or splashing in a wheelchair." Bryssa said, a single tear trickling down her cheek.
She wiped it away and shook her head. "It's alright though. Hazelle is keeping a good attitude, so I shall as best I can."

Bryssa nodded, and hugged him back.
It felt good having someone who wasn't her mother to talk to about these things, someone to hold onto.
"You need this hug more than I, Hazelle might still have hope but Jamie... Markus I'm being selfish."
((No no, you're fine.))

Bryssa smiled.
"Let's keep walking, okay?" she walked, lacing her arm in his.
She smelled the rain, and felt her soaked hair. She pulled her hood over her head, though knowing her hair couldn't get any wetter.

(( So sorry I haven't been on! I had a production last week that sucked up all my time))
Bryssa was grateful for the umbrella. Though she was soaking wet it felt comforting. She noticed Markus's hand had seemed to become slightly colder.
She glanced up at him, saying nothing.
