Arenda | 26447 comments The complete trilogy 1q84 (= book 1-3 in one book) 1296 pages =

The following editions are no real editions.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18...
without any data, all have the cover from the complete (=1-3) trilogy and are listed as the complete trilogy #1, complete #2 en complete #3.

Should these three be merged into the complete trilogy, or each into the matching book? (The separate books for 1, 2 and 3 in Dutch translation are already listed on goodreads)

Empress (the_empress) It looks to me as if those are translations, not parts of trilogy, considering the page numbers are the same.

I would say look up the librarian change log and contact the librarians that have edited the details, and ask them why have they used the same cover for translated books. (I'm saying this because this librarian is doing the same for other books as well)

Hope you solve it. I know I'm not of a much help here, but I don't want to mess with non-English editions.

Emy (emypt) | 5037 comments I suggest flagging for merger to Supers?

I have contacted the librarian, but she doesn't accept messages, so I had to send friend request and I'm not sure how will the message display.

They are Dutch.
The only editions with "complete" on the cover are a paperback and an ebook, both containing book 1-3 in 1.
(book 1, book 2 and book 3 are also published separately in Dutch, with each its own isbn, and a unique cover for each book).

Flags to supers at the same time - need to combine the rogues with the correct full edition first and probably link back to this thread too.

Arenda | 26447 comments I did post these editions in the supers-delete-thread
with a link to this thread.

Empress (the_empress) Why are comments 5 and 6 referred to me? Due to the abbreviation in the quotes I don't follow the logic of this conversation.

message 9: by Arenda (new)

Arenda | 26447 comments I'm sorry. The post you replied to seems to be removed. I edited post #5.
