Holy freaking crap. I cannot believe the way this book ended. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. I have now read 4 full length novels, 5 novellas by Lisa Renee Jones and she has quickly becoming a must read author. This book has the white hot romance and the intrigue just like her Inside Out series. I love Amy and Liam...I am just pissed we didn't get answers...in fact we ended with more questions that I really need the answers to like now!

Review
Another great addition to the In Death series. I loved every minute of it of it! In this installment, someone has murdered a prominent reconstructive surgeon, and Eve is on the case. The story starts off strong with a haunting prologue and never lets up throughout the book. As usual, there are moments of humor interspersed throughout the story, which is one of my favorite things about this series. Peabody remains my favorite character and she has some great moments in this one. The other side characters don't feature much in this book. We see a little bit of Feeney and McNab, but for the most part, it's just Eve, Peabody, and Roarke. Not a bad thing, but it's something I thought I would mention. I can't wait to read the next book and have already requested it from the library.

Review- I've read Mr. Iles's work before in his Penn Cage series and was eager to try something different from him- and loved this as well! Greg Iles does an excellent job of writing the evil characters in his murder/mysteries- even more so in this book, which is even more of a psychological thriller.
Harper Cole leads a double life in more than one way- he is a commodity trader by day but also works for EROS, a high-end, erotic on-line social media site. He was brought into this company by his childhood friend, Miles Turner, who is a socially bizarre genius with a cross to bear. Harper is also plagued with a secret that can tear his marriage apart.
Harper's world is thrown into chaos when a killer breaches EROS's uncrackable security system and begins preying on, and murdering, some of it's female members. Harper catches a connection to the murders and dutifully reports this to the police. This act is rewarded by making himself, and Miles, the main focus of police and FBI scrutiny. They decide the only way to clear themselves is to find the real killer by drawing his attention to themselves and stop the murders. But is one, or both of them, involved??
Mr. Iles leads the reader on a wild ride of suspician and makes us look at all characters and wonder who may be behind the murders and what is their ultimate goal, as these are not 'simple' murders at all. Great job!
And again, I simply love the way this author writes, tangling emotion and even philisophical views on human nature into a face paced thriller. Kudos.

It was fun and I read a lot is books I have been meaning to but wouldn't have but for this challenge. We made a great team.

This was really fun- I loved the comradery and will miss seeing you all in 'our' thread:)
I too read books I would not have normally read because of the challenge.

We had such an amazing team here and whether we got second or last, I still had a great time. Regina, I also read books I'd been meaning to, but probably wouldn't have gotten to because of this challenge. so thanks challenge for helping me kill some of my TBR. lol

I started reading that on my way home from my trip. Sadly I haven't been able to pick it back up, but there were some moments I wanted to reach into the book and kick Curran in the balls and I'm only 127 pages in. lol
