Week 9: Wide
My Letter: I
Murder Deja Vu by Polly Iyer
Finished: 15 September 2013
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
Murder Deja Vu tells the story of Reece Daughtry, a man who spent 15 years in prison for a murder he didn't commit. When 6 years after his release another murder is committed with the same MO and the police are looking at Daughtry as the most likely suspect, he goes on the run to try and find the murderer himself instead of allowing himself to get framed again. After the first few chapters that set up the romance between Reece and Dana, I felt rather doubtful whether I'd like the book - the beginning of their relationship felt extremely contrived to me. However, once the mystery part of the story really got going I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the story.
Bonus Items:
Wide: "Carl leaned across the desk, his eyes wide" (p. 264)
Attorney/Lawyer: "My attorney humiliated him" (p. 2)

Bonus: Attorney/Lawyer

Deeply Odd by Dean Koontz
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
I liked this one way better than Odd Apocalypse. The story line was better less weird like Odd Apocalypse and Brother Odd. I love this series and can't wait for the next one.
Bonus Items
Wide: pg 16. The cowboy approached me and stopped on the other side of the wide display bin.
Attorney. pg 199 Fischer had been an attorney in a major Manhattan firm

Author/Title: Arden, William The Purple Pirates
Letter: W
Rating: Lawyer pg 151"I suggest you hire a lawyer to be sure that everything is legal, but I can't see what could go wrong.
Wow: Wide pg 33 Wide After buying their tickets, Jupe and Pete moved through the wide double-wire gates into a broad central promenade between two long, low frame buildings.
REVIEW:
The three investigaros are on top of it once again. The Three Investigators find themselves in a seedy pirate themed amusement park only to find themselves rescued in the nick of time by Jupter's quick thinking. The descendant of a long forgotten California pirate keeps a secret that leads others to the park in a suspense filled stakeout and dramatic showdown between a eaplane and a motorized pirate ship. Fortunatley for them it is in Rocky Beach, CA which they call home. this is a well thought out and well written novel by a master of the game.

This was the last week, the extra words were just in the list so you couldn't be sure in advance which words would be picked for the last week.
