I've found books for all letters, including a Y book I actually want to read, so if you're not too keen on any of the ones you have, I'll take that. :)

If you've already started stick with the Y. The books I have for A and B are ones I was planning to read next week anyway, so that works fine for me. :)
Gea, do you prefer A or B?

REVIEW: This is the second book in The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club series. Edna Yoker Miller and her second husband Lamar teach quilting to a few students,
every so often. Each of her classes she feels have needed something from her more than the quilting they came for. The people inthe groups are alwasy very different. Cheryl came to get her grandmother's wall hanging repaired, Carmer is a journalist and and her boss wants an expose on the Amish children's running around years. blaine was tricked into taking the class, his fish was smaller. Selma was given the class
to keeper her out of her neighbors hair. Anna's mom signed her up hopign she would remain Amish. Emma and Lamar have their work cut out for them, teaching their reluctant students and helping them through their own individual problems.

Book: Whispers in the Dark by Maya Banks
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
I have waited to read this book for a while and always dreaded that I won't like it as much as the rest of the series because of the paranormal factor. The book was surprisingly good and very easy to read once I got past the first few chapters. I didn't mind the paranormal stuff it just added another twist to the series. I know I'll be reading the next book from series very soon, can't wait to see what happens to Grace.
WoW (baby): The baby . (location 727)
Bonus word (hotel): Her idea of camping was a nice hotel with room service and a spa. (location 758)
Total Points: 10
Week 7: Baby
My Letter: A
Darkborn by Alison Sinclair
Finished: 04 September 2013
Rating: ★★★★★
Review:
Alison Sinclair has created a fascinating world here that I have completely fallen in love with. An intriguing and imaginative story filled with intrigue, magic and interesting, likable characters - one of those few books that compelled me to immediately go buy the sequels before I was even halfway through book one of the series. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of this trilogy has in store!
Bonus Items:
Baby: "Within the crib, a baby twitched in izs blankets" (p. 13)
Hotel: "entrance to hotel accommodation" (p. 309)
My Letter: A

Yes, Chef: A Memoir by Marcus Samuelsson
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
I really enjoyed learning more about Marcus Samuelsson as a person and getting insight into his background. He was born in Ethiopia and adopted by Swedes when his parents died. He traveled all over, driven, taking internships in restaurants, while battling race issues. His entire journey has flavored his style of cooking.
Bonus Items:
Baby: p 9 "We want to have a baby but we can't"
Hotel: p. 68 "It fed all of the Park Avenue Hotel

Okay, so from the letters and preferences everyone has listed, I've come up with this list for this week. Is that okay for everyone?

Boundless by Cynthia Hand. Unearthly series
My Rating: ★★★★
My Review: I was sad to see the end of the series, but everything is wrapped up nice and neat. There are a lot of surprises in the plot - including what all the visions have been leading up to, and the real purpose. I'm glad about who Clara ends up with but I'm sad for the other. I grew to like him a lot.
Word of the Week: p 333 "He quit the manager informs me."
Bonus Word: p 146 "His mom must be making a pie
So everything's working out as planned? Great. :)
Sorry I haven't been checking in much this week, I've been really busy. >.<
Jenn, points for last week are posted (finally)!

Book: Wicked Widow by Amanda Quick
Rating: ★★★
Review:
This book was the usual Amanda Quick story and I felt I knew in advance most of the things that were about to happen. It was decent enough though and I'll read the rest of her books I have on TBR in hopes of finding another great book of hers.
WoW (quit): "You were the only one who had the sense to quit " (page 37)
Bonus word (pie): People strolled about munching hot meat pies (page 81)
Total Points: 12
Week 8: Quit
My Letter: I
A Countess Below Stairs by Eva Ibbotson
Finished: 13 September 2013
Rating: ★★★★
Review:
A lovely, heartwarming tale set shortly after WWI, A Countess Below Stairs is the story of Anna, a young Russian countess, who takes up employment as a maid in a noble house in England after her family has lost its fortune. With just the right amount of romance and some of that same kind of charm that made Frances Hodgson Burnett's A Little Princess such a delight to read, this was a highly enjoyable book.
Bonus Items:
Quit: "studded about in impossible Yorkshire hovels which they refused to quit" (p. 90)
Pie: "the fish pie was still the best in England" (p. 225)

This was the first of her books that I've read, but apparently she's written both children's books and quite a few YA books like this one. :)

WOW" Quit: For several years after Mark quit Brown University in RI, he wandered around the country taking odd jobs and remaining completely out of touch iwth his family.

REVIEW:
In Cape Light (which the series is named) it is Christmas and the mayor Emily Warwick is jogging along the green and finds a baby in the creche in front of her church. With a note to whoever finds her little Jane, to take care of her. Emily who had to give up her baby she had far too young when her husband died and her mother thought it best, wants just that. She is newly married to Dan who has raised all of his
