Carl Schierhorn (cschierh) | 20 comments This has probably been answered many places, but I haven't found it:

What's the etiquette about posting the same or similar reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, NetGalley, etc.

Is it OK? Clearly your opinion of the book isn't going to change.

Lola (lolasreviews) | 563 comments You can cross post your review on all sites. It is your review so you can post it on whatever site you want.

I agree. It is also helpful to authors when reviews are posted in multiple places.

Lola (lolasreviews) | 563 comments Indeed quite often authors/publishers even ask if you can post your review on multiple sites.

Yes! We love when you post on as many sites as possible, especially Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. Most authors get the majority of their sales from those two sites ;)

Sophia (Bookwyrming Thoughts) (hannahsophialin) I usually post on Goodreads unless asked to, lol. of course, if I got it from netgalley I post there too. As for Amazon... it's rare that i post on there. ;p

chucklesthescot I put mine on Goodreads and both Amazon UK and Amazon.com, and if I got it from Smashwords I post there too. I'm never on Barnes & Noble so I don't post there. I also post it on my book group and make sure I add it to my update feed so all my friends can see it.

Yay!! Hooray for Amazon reviews! I'd have no readers without them :)

chucklesthescot Just wait until I get my Kobo...there will be no stopping me....no limits on reading and reviewing!

Squeeeee!

I post my reviews for indie authors where ever I can! I don't bother with the big giants though and don't even write reviews for those unless I get overly excited. Not enough time in the day!

But I will always support indies! :-)

Aww that helps so much Karen!

AGirlAmongstBooks (Jess Green) (agirlamongstbooks) I post on goodreads, amazon and barnes & noble...i basically write the same review on all 3 sites.

message 14: by Gabby (new)

Gabby I post my reviews on Goodreads, but if the author has asked me to (or if I have been given the book as a r2r) I will also post on Amazon.

I have been bad about doing review lately, but normally I post most of them here--except when I've been given an ARC, or its an indie author, then I post everywhere I can!

message 16: by Tracy (new)

Tracy | 823 comments If you were asking if you should post the exact same review on multiple sites, I do. I am not a writer therefore my reviews are very elementary so I can't write two or three different reviews. I post the same review on goodreads and amazon.

message 17: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie | 25 comments I give my reviews at my blog, and then an abbreviated version for the other sites!

message 18: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte (cf25) I usually post in my blog and Goodreads. I do post in BN or Amazon upon request. Yeah, I know, I'm too lazy.

message 19: by Theresea (new)

Theresea Wasson I post on Goodreads, and then regardless of the author special request or not, I will copy and past my post on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. If I know that it's on Smashwords, I'll post there as well.

message 20: by Laura (new)

Laura Greenwood I post all my reviews to my blog and to goodreads, then some to amazon and netgalley, they're always the same but I always put something like this at the top:

Review posted XXth month on http://a-reader-lives-a-thousand-live...

or

message 21: by Angela (new)

Angela (MysticReviews) | 6 comments I post mine on as many sites as possible. There have been times I have missed some sites but I try to get as many as possible :)

message 22: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Hamill (patricia_hamill) | 1 comments I post all over the place: Goodreads, shelfari, amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca (if I'm frisky that day), and smashwords (if that's where I got it).

I also blog my reviews, typically a month or so after I post them to the above sites, and as I read a book, I post updates that are linked to my twitter and facebook feeds.

Fun hobby!
