Liam opened the door with a flourish, waving Scarlet into the penthouse's entry hall. They were safe here. The building was full of assassins, and they looked after each other.
Scarlet took off the jacket, her now shortened dress not really helping cover anything. She jumped around and looked at him. "Do you have any sweats i could borrow?"
He smiled and led her down the hall and up the see through stairs that ascended from the living room, pointing to his room. "Grey drawer set on the left," he answered, clearing his throat. He sat waiting for her, leaning on the silver bar rail, wringing his jacket in his rough, callused hands.
She skipped over and closed the door before stripping off the annoying dress and putting on the sweats. Curiosity getting the better of her she started to snoop around.

He fled down the stairs after her once he realized. "No no no no no no! Scarr!" he called, catching her wrist from behind and tying a towel tight against it, holding her adn pressing his lips to her hair as he cried. "God no..please don't," he pleaded as he kissed her hair with tear stained lips.
She collapsed in a heap crying. "You broke you half of the promise so why shouldn't I!" She yelled at him, more hurt than she was angry.
He pulled her to his lap in the floor, rocking her because it had worked to calm her in the past, when he spoke his voice was weak, dry and strained. "I won't again. I didn't see you for months! I thought you left! I was devastated!" he responded flatly, his head still buried in her hair.
"You said that last time!" She said beating her fist against his chest weakly, she finally stopped and curled against his chest. "You had promised me..." She whispered the hurt in her voice overwhelming.
"I know," he whispered, his voice barely straining to escape. God, he needed a fix. Now. "But it's true. We got in a fight and you disappeared, Scarr. I was upset. I didn't know what to do and then it all went downhill." he felt his broad shoulders begin to twitch. He needed it. "Scar. I have to take them. It's too late. You can start rehabbing me again soon but I can't skip this one," he whispered, twitching again, seeing her shift as his muscles jerked.
She turned and suddenly kissed him on the lips tears still running down her cheeks.
He smiled, pulling her so close their bodies were pressed together, having missed her kiss. Yet he twitched violently twice and was forced to pull back. "Please," he begged with desperate eyes. "I love you Scarr."((btw his character profile is posted))
"Fine..." She said softly, trying to hide the feeling of betrayal. She climbed off his lap and ran up to the guest room before slamming the and locking it.
He climbed the stairs slowly, walking sluggishly into his room and searching for a pill, flinging his jacket onto the bed. He found it but left it close, deciding he would try. He had to. He loved her. Yet it was in vain. Within minutes he fell to the floor, his head banging into his dresser with a thud, leaving a large bloody gash in his head as he lay unconscious, the closed bottle rolling into the hall.
Scarlet walked out and gasped seeing him. "You idiot!" She cried as she cradled his head in her lap. A tear rolled down her cheek as she took a few of the pills and put them in her mouth. "Swallow." She said as she kissed him letting the pills go into his mouth.
HE obeyed, slowly opening his eyes halfway after a while, her sweatpants now bloody, his blond hair now wet and sticky. "I'm sorry Scarr, I was trying..I was.." he passed out again, his head falling back into her lap.
"It's okay, remember baby steps..." She said taking a few herself. While she had been avoiding him she had stopped cutting but had taken up all kinds of of drugs.
He slowly came back to the conscious world, now sitting up slowly. He watched her, his hand on the back of his head to stop the bleeding, his eyes on her arms. "So what have you been shooting?"
There was a needle beside her and she was swaying slightly from the drugs in her body. She was warming up as her body attempted to process the drugs. "Liam, it's so hot...." She panted softly.
He held her up to him, kissing her neck as he whimpered for her, watching her. He wanted more than anything, more than her right now to inject. Oh, just to shoot one more time. "Scar, where's the rest?" he asked her quickly.
She pointed to the small bag that had all kinds of drugs in it, as a soft moan escaped her. She writhed slightly her back arching. "Ugh it's to hot..." She moaned out.
He dropped her, crawling to the bag and searching till he found it. Black tar. He groaned in success and loaded it into the syringe, getting ready.
Scarlet was desperate to get her sweats off, they were making her legs feel like they were on fire.
He saw her despair and set the syringe down, tugging her pants off before sitting back and taking a shoelace, tying his massive bicep off so he could inject, biting his lip.
Scarlet watched him, her eyes clouded with lust.
He sat there a moment, knowing this was a stupid choice but injecting himself, dropping the syringe and smiling, filled with such a clouded, undescribable euphoria nothing in reality could compare to. He stood, slowly removing his pants as he sprang up, stripping his shirt off so he stood with his dog tags against his sweaty chest, stumbling to the edge of his bed.
Scarlet sat watching him with a lust filled gaze. She slowly stood up and walked over to him before she kissed him deeply, her hands resting on his chest.
Scarlets hand stroked him through his pants, a purr escaping her. She pushed him down onto the bed before rolling so that he was on top.
