Yeah, I have the same feeling... And they're pretty slow in putting new books

Yeah this month everything seems really slow in terms of giving me a accept or deny.
So interesting thing I discovered. As you may know, sometimes request books turn into read now books. However if you were turned down for the request version you will still be unable to get the read now version. I am sad :*(

yeah i was considering that but then i was like "screw them if they dont want a review then fine lol"
*update* So i was able to get that read now book i wanted. I dont know if it was a glitch before that didnt allow me to download it (stating the all too familiar request decline line) but it worked! All is well in the world again.
is on Netgalley! I probably don't have a chance at it, but I requested anyway.

I seem to only get approvals from certain publishers if I say why I'm requesting the book, but I've gotten plenty of approvals without putting anything in that box. It just depends on the publisher, I guess.

HA HA. I think it's not up for request! I will just wait for them to be posted on NetGalley. I have better chances there! :)

Penguin are very selective, I have never had a book from them. they're US only as well I think.
Oh, that's annoying! I don't like publishers that only give to the US its so annoying! I understand that have to because of rights and everything though.
I've given up on Edelweiss and deleted my account. I'm using only NetGalley now.
I just created my Edelweiss and I haven't been approved for any of the 20 titles I requested. I recently dwindled my Netgalley Pile down to 3 books to read! But I can't read 2 until I read the first one which I didn't get approved of!
I never got anything there, so I decided to just quit it.
In all of 6 or 8 months, I only got 2 or 3 books, and all of them were DRM

Yep, NetGalley is pretty slow. I have pending requests from a month ago
I agree Sarah and who approves you the second and third book in a trilogy but not the first one! That really annoyed me.
