I wonder if they ever actually approve anyone, or if they just put the books on there to make us want them.
Just to get us all interested! I bet loads of people see them on netgalley and think 'that looks good', they can probably tell how popular a book is going to be by how many requests they get.

Curiosity Quills Press do for sure… Not sure about the others though.

Mine is at 95.9, I think I've read like 20 books in the past week though.

Yeah, some do, we just don't know anyone who ever gets an approval from penguin.

A lot of them do, but it's so hard to get one book from penguin, that i doubt anyone has an auto approval by them, haha.
I got approved for
by Penguin UK, only to find out that it was a mistake as they archived it before turning me down!

You must be super popular ☺

Yay! I've come to the realisation that I still need to read 4 more books to have less review copies than I started the challenge with. Ridiculous!
I've been trying not to request more, but then got aproved for one this morning that I requested more than a month ago! And it doesn't have a kindle option ☹
I still have 3 pending, but I don't expect to get them, they're ones I requested in february and march. although I requested otherbound in march!

After a long slog I have finally got myself to 67.8% on NetGalley… still got far too many to go, and that's without my own reading list which seems to be getting forgotten again.
Are you going for new authors? I'm trying VERY hard to stay only to authors and series i'm currently reading.

I go for anything that I think looks good! I'm trying not to request anything else at the moment, but I'm still getting the odd one come through.
I was up to 60, but I got approved for so many recently that I've read 42, and I've still got 62 to go! I started the ARC challenge to try and get my review pile down, but it's still higher than it was when I started!

I really wish they would all note when they don't have kindle options. I have seen some do that but not nearly enough.
I wish they did that too. It's really frustrating when you get approved for something that you really want to read, only to find out that you can't read it on your kindle!

Has this not been released in the states yet? I'm sure I read this last year.

Book two is on netgalley? We read the third about 6 months ago!
I saw it and thought 'is that the fourth one?' (it has a different cover -

But it's the second one!

But it's the second one!
Maybe. Maybe it's only available as a hardcover in the US at the moment or something.
I don't know why, but the eyes on the cover remind me of Katy Perry!

She does look a bit like her!

I need to catch up...

You have to choose the option to send them to your kindle on edelweiss. When you click the green download button it should say 'you are downloading this book in .... format' and next to that there should be a little blue word 'change'. Click change to change it to sending to your kindle.

I requested this one! It sounds good and Patchwork Press always approve stuff so finger crossed! :)

Sorry Cyndel, I didn't see this question earlier! Have you worked it out alright?

ya i set my profile and have already found a few I sent my request for hope to get approved for atleast one of them so many great looking books
you should consider downloading some of the 'read-now' titles (you can download these right away without waiting for approval). It gets your percentage up and shows publishers that you'll read and review books that you receive, making it more likely that publishers will approve you in the future ☺
You can find the 'read now' titles by clicking on 'read now' on the 'find titles' screen.
