It gets easier the more approvals you get, and the more reviews you submit, so new approvals don't drop your percentage as much. Mine's at 96.3 at the moment.

And HarperCollins just broke my heart... They turned down every request I made on Edelweiss

It would be nice if they told you why they didn't pick you. 90% of the time they give me no indication as to why I was rejected.

I agree, I find that they don't actually tell you why they declined you, or give you a really rubbish excuse - like 'make sure your profile is up to date', when I update it every month.

Disney didn't even accept bloggers at all until this year. previously you had to be a librarian or a bookseller to get an approval from them.

I'm rather annoyed that St. Martin's Press denied me on Netgalley. I've reviewed a few hard copy books for them on romancejunkies.com like... you can send me a hard copy but not an ebook? Oh well.. not like I don't have a million books to read..

Nah, I do it all the time. I know loads of people who have really different taste to me. I know that Hannelore loves most stuff that I hate, so if i come across another teardrop, I know to tell her about it!
