The One Line Poem Game (1-50 Words)
It's all happening at the zoo,
It's all a matter of what you intend to do.
My truelove is the zookeeper.
Luckily he's a heavy sleeper.
Cuz the animals come out to party at night
And cut a rug that's such a fright
As they dance in line and Mash Potato
the Twist and Salsa as they drank barrels of mojito.
There were bears on bicycles and lions jumping hoops.
Round and round, up and down, and through the loops…
So let me introduce you to the one and only Billy Shears.
Then come the clowns with smiles and naughty leers,
Tripping over flat feet and swearing like martyrs
Over men and horses hoops and garters
Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!
Which really quite annoyed the hog.
Especially when he flipped over back and landed in the bog.
The chimps carried a brolly while crossing the high wire,
While three of the clowns accused the fourth of being a liar.
An ape was performing on the flying trapeze,
You've never seen anything like it, such a wheeze.
A seal balanced a ball on the top of his nose.
Wibble wobble, a step and a trip, and there he goes.
So clever with his flippers is Solly the Seal
Solly so Jolly slurped a conger-eel.
When morning came the zookeeper woke,
To find the animals in a line waiting for a soak,
To clean the mud in which they'd been for a wallow
Way down there in Sleepy Hollow.
Sleepy Hallow is not far away
But I make sure not to go that way
I'm afraid of the headless horseman,
Who might take your head and leave you worsen.
Who lost a fight to a gladiator.
After way too much blood and gore,
He lost a fight to a minotaur.
It's an odd sport that they call games,
There's one doesn't kill but certainly lames,
As the great Latin actor knew, called Valentino, Rudy
The Romans all dearly loved their weekly ludi.
Ludi, Rudy I'm so confused,
These Latin words are overused.
We don't use Latin in Sleepy Hollow,
Just headless horsemen it's not wise to follow
And don't wake sleeping guys like Rip Van Winkle,
How could he sleep so long without having to tinkle?
The Catskill mountains don't sound safe for cats,
Swung by their tails against trees, oh rats!
