I only have book one but I'll put the rest on hold. My library has like 50 copies of each. Are we doing like 5 chapters a day then—like when should we finish the first boom so we can continue on to the 2nd.
Me too we can have check-ins every 5 chapters.

Shoot—I am only on chapter 14. I like it so far. Haha I knew Alec was gay from the start, I'm surprised Clary didn't pick it up sooner. Oh and love Magnus, he's great. Clary is a great heroine so far. Jace is okay. Who doesn't love Simon?
Valentine is a great villain so far.
I'll finish book one probably by Wednesday. Kathryn-have you started book 2?
I have time to read today hopefully I'll finish book 1
I'm on City of Ashes right now :-) I just picked it up and I'm only about 40 pages in.
I loved the City of Bones sooo much! Did you??

@Trinity— i absolutely LOVED IT!!!!!!
@Kathryn- it was crazy good— throughout the book I was wondering how the end of the book would unravel itself, as I was not disappointed. But I REALLY REALLY DON'T THINK JACE AND CLARY ARE RELATED. Like that seemed unsettling, and bothering while reading the last chapter and epilogue.
Valentine's story doesn't work for me. I don't think he is telling the whole truth.
I'm not even halfway done with City of Ashes, so you don't have to worry about me being done! Lol! Valentine can't possibly be their father. He just can't! At least, not both of them! Grr
I don't think Valentine is both of their fathers either. Somehow, they have to not be related :)
I think Jace was adopted by Valentine, when he was a child.
I think he was too! There's no way he is Jace's father.
I love love love this series! Just finished book 3 this morning and it was by far my favorite! Can't wait to keep going!
I know! I thought he was being an idiot, but I began to feel a bit sorry for him.
I'm buying all the books on Saturday, when I have time. Then I'll be able to start book 2. The copy the library gave me was really bad. And I couldn't bother checking out another copy.
So we're doing a full series buddy read? :)
