SOLVED. YA/Children - a boy discovers his 6 brothers ruling different aspects of the city [s]

I found the book in a library around 2002? Could've been 2-3 years later as well.

The book was about a boy who was adopted and found out that he has 6 brothers in the town/city in which he lived.
He visits every brother over the course of the book, and they're all different and all are ruling a certain "aspect" of the city, which in turn also influences them.

For example, one brother was the "past" of the city and he also lived in the past.
Another was the financial aspect.
A third one took care of the waste and trash system - and he wasn't very happy about his duty.

The book ends when the boy discovers his own aspect - the future of the city and enters his own domain. There he discovers a rocket / space shuttle and shoots some of his evil brothers(?) into space, I think.

Has anyone ever heard about that book? I'll appreciate any help.

Without a DOUBT Archer's Goon I loved that story. I will still go back occasionally and re-read it. It's just sssooo funny.

Thank you! I've gone back to the liberay as a teenager and reread it also several times. But then we moved and I forgot the title. :)
