He fell asleep next to her.She giggled softly and ran her hand up and down his chest gently.
She woke up at sunrise, dreading going back home. He moaned slightly and woke up.
He woke up after her. She smiled and moved her hand.
She hid her face in his shoulder. "Hey," he murmured.
"Hey." He said softly.She smiled. "Hey." She said to him.
"Hey," she whispered. He yawned. "Good morning."
"How are you?" He asked her.She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Morning." She said to him.
"Worried," she whispered. "How'd you sleep?" he asked.
"Why?" He asked her."Good." She said to him.
"We have to go home tomorrow..." she whispered. He kissed her forehead. "I'm going to start on the fireplace for in here."
He sighed. "I don't want to go home..." He said sadly.She smiled and nodded.
"I don't either..." she said. "Should we stay here?"He suddenly lifted her in his arms and carried her outside.
"I don't know..." He said softly.She giggled and held onto him.
"We can if you want to," she said. He smiled, carrying her out to the berry bushes.
"My dad..." He said softly."Where are we going?" She asked him.
"Or... I don't know what you'd think of my solution..." she whispered."The berry bushes," he said. "We grow strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries."
"What?" He asked her.She smiled. "That's so cool." She said to him.
"We live together in town..." she said. He got out a wooden bucket from the shed, setting her on her feet when they were at the bushes.
He smiled. "I like that idea." He said to her.She grinned. "We can pick them?" She asked happily.
She smiled and kissed his cheek. He grinned and nodded. "I'm gonna teach you Grandma's secret berry tart recipe."
He got up and pulled her with him.She grinned. "Okay!" She said excitedly.
She hugged him. He picked berries with her.
He hugged her back.She smiled and helped him.
She sighed happily. She loved being in his arms. When they had enough he led her back to the house.
"I love you so much." He whispered.She smiled and walked with him.
"I love you too," she whispered. "More than anything."He held her hand.
"Me too." He said softly.She laced her fingers through his.
She laid her head on his shoulder. He kissed her cheek.
He sighed and held her close.She blushed softly.
She kissed his cheek. He put the berry bucket on the counter.
"I love you." He whispered."What now?" She asked him.
"I love you too," she whispered. He got out flour, sugar, and butter.
"Let's get moving." He said softly.She watched him. "What can I do?" She asked him.
She sighed. "Do we have to?""Sit and keep me company," he said.
He nodded. "But we can always come back." He said to her."Really? I can help." She said to him.
She nodded. "I guess so.""Can you wash the berries?" he asked.
He smiled softly and started to pack his stuff together.She nodded and started to wash them.
She also packed her stuff.He made the tart.
He finished up way before her, he didn't have much."Anything else you need me to do?" She asked him.
She didn't have much either but she'd taken the time to fold everything neatly. "Come closer, I'll show you," he said.
"Need a hand?" He asked her."Oh, okay." She said, and moved closer to him.
She shook her head. "I don't."He showed her how to make the rest of it, letting her help.
He nodded. "Okay." He said, and sat on the bed.She smiled when they were finished.
She quickly finished. "I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I blame it on being another thing to control.""Wanna try some?" he asked.
He nodded. "It's okay, I understand." He said to her.She smiled. "Okay!" She exclaimed
She closed her bag and sat on the bed beside him.He cut a piece of the tart and put it on a plate for her, topping it with custard.
He put his hand on her thigh.She smiled and grabbed a fork and started to eat it. She moaned with pleasure. "Mmmmmmmmm... That's amazing!" She exclaimed
She laced her fingers through his.He smiled. "The fresh berries make it delicious."
He smiled at her.She nodded. "This is delicious." She said to him.
A smile spread across his face, but he didn't wake up.
