Probably in the beginning of the next book. They might not get caught in the action (i.e. kissing). Maxon might just put two and two together.

I'm hoping they find a way to work. But I'm guessing that if that does happen maybe America will do something heroic for the country.
If Maxon catches America with Aspen, things will probably turn to Maxon and Kriss...UNLESS Maxon actually loves America.

Yeah. But if that happens maybe Maxon will know how America feels. He's got a bit of a temper so I'm hoping she tells him before someone catches them.
I'm hoping America is finally done sneaking around with Aspen though. At the end of The Elite she kept saying how she was going to fight for Maxon so I hope that doesn't include making out with Aspen whenever she gets annoyed with Maxon.I wouldn't be surprised if Maxon did find out about what they were doing before, though. I think he loves America enough to forgive her for it. I hope so anyway.
I feel that they should be caught, America's the one who can't make up her mind anyway. She keeps turning back and forth when she's mad at another, that girl has to get her groove on. I'm on Team Maxon, I wish that America would end up with him, but I also have that soft side for Aspen. I think he just came to get the job not because he loves America, because he wants to look over her, so she won't get into any trouble.
Yeah... I also hope that America sits down and talks with Maxon about Aspen instead of Maxon finding America kissing Aspen or something. Because the Marlee incident will most likely then come back in a different form...
I really doubt that their will be any kissing between Aspen and America portrayed in a romantic way in The One.Especially after how the Elite ended. I think the way Maxon will find out is by America telling him.

Maybe he'll find out somehow or another. And then America will get really hurt, and then he'll realize how much he loves her and can't live without her. i might be a little odd, but I like a little ass kicking here and there. Sometimes it makes for a stronger heroine. Again, just my opinion.

America will probably be all sad and down because she ruined (or thought she ruined) her relationship with Maxon. And then Maxon would realize how much America means to him and how much he means to her! I really hope that that happens.Does anyone else hope that every chapter the views change from Maxon to America? I think that would be really cool.
Aspen should be with Lucy and America should be with Maxon, then everyone's happy!! But, I think we all know that Aspen and America are going to get caught in The One, and it's going to test America and Maxon's relationship.
Yes. I agree. I think the reason that (view spoiler) was because Aspen and America will be caught and Maxon won't be able to have the heart to hurt her.
It will just show how much he really loves her.

my idea of what will happen is america will stop talking to aspen and he will try to reach out to her to find out,and with that maxon will take notice and confront america and of coarse she will tearfully confess.so maxon will be so heart broken that he, will not speak to america and he will love her to much to hurt her.In response he will send america away and get engaged to kriss quickly without thinking over it.when america will be leaving maxon will run after her and confess his love and brake off his engagement with kriss .(SIGH)that would be perfect.:)or would it be a little to predictable????

On the edge of predictable, but not as predictable as other situations.
i got the sense that America was completely done with Aspen, based on her reaction the last time they were together - admitting that she could love him (with a nod i believe). in any event, i think that it may come out at some point who Aspen really is to America - although Maxon already knows that they were friendly in the past. i think that we'll see how it all plays out. it leaves a lot of drama for the last book right? i think that it would only add to the need for America to prove herself as princess potential - with her relationship with the Italians and the closer that she gets to figuring out who's trying to break into the castle and steal the books or whatever if it that they are looking for.

I think that scenario would come. In different versions, maybe, but along the same line.
i was thinking that when the Italians came the princess said she (country) was rooting for America for princess but it also said that its very important to have the Italians on Ileas side so why didnt America say anything like i dont know have connections with the Italians

Me too! I think in the One when things get really bad she might cry and cry or something and then find the page in a pocket of some kind then call with a plan. Or something.Speaking of when will they get caught... I think definitely in the One, probably in the beginning- middle. Probably then because it will most likely effect events that are to come.

I know that Aspen is a guard and good at it, but I am surprised they haven't been caught yet. It seems too good to be true. But since it seems like America is about Maxon now, won't she end up telling him about Aspen? I dont really see how the book can end without adressing it. What do you think?
