The February selection on Amazon is much better than recent months. I got When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit, The Saga of Erik The Viking (you know, for kids!) Ammonites and Leaping Fish: A Life in Time
I have done that before, going to look at a book stall. Not going to buy any, not going to by any... Bought 12.
It's so easy, all part of their ploy. Damn them!
Another one just pinged into my inbox.
The Devil in the Marshalsea

Extreme Sleeps: Adventures of a Wild Camper is 99p. Read it a while ago and though it was quite good.
No Fixed Abode: A Journey Through Homelessness from Cornwall to London is 99p today on the Kindle:

Just finished a book of poetry Stone Hotel: Poems From Prison amazing stuff, very emotional stuff. It is out of print but the publisher have a available as a free PDF on their site.http://www.crimethinc.com/blog/2006/0...
Well worth checking out.
Hi Jo, I noticed that Second Life had come down in price, bought it and have just finished it. It is very similar in feel to the author's previous book, Before I Go To Sleep, a psychological thriller told from the point of view of the female central character, whose knowledge is incomplete. Anyone who liked the first book would like the second I think.
I bought it too, having (mostly) enjoyed BIGTS. I have my book club on Thursday and may suggest this as we all enjoyed the last one!
Two of my favourite books of last year are in the Kindle daily deals today. Harry's Last Stand and Robert MacFarlane's Mountains of the Mind. x
Jason wrote: "Cheers Debbie, just purchased mountains of the mind."Excellent, you shall love it. I am certain. x
Two that be of some interest to people:

I got a notification for some free Kindle books today, but none of them are - don't know if they were literally dipped for an hour or two, or if ereaderiq has got its wires crossed.
Shame, as there were two I would have had, but not at full price....

I have had that very strongly recommended to me, I thought by you (!) but must be one of my book club buddies. But not read it yet, might also snap it up.

Got that one waiting on my Kindle for when I get round to it. His book Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mount Everest Disaster is also highly recommended if you like mountaineering books.
Please could someone tell me how to sign up to get the Kindle Daily Deals from Amazon? I was receiving daily e mails but they suddenly stopped! Thank you.

I read that last year Paul, I heartily recommend it.

Are We Nearly There Yet?: A Family's 8000-Mile Car Journey Around Britain is 99p today. Very funny book.
The City & the City is 99p today. I thought it was a fantastic book, because it is as much about a murder mystery as it is about challenging perceptions.
Friends on here seem to have reviewed it from three to five stars. Was contemplating Sipping from the Nile: My Exodus From Egypt
Lisa wrote: "Anyone read The Song of Achilles? It is 99p today on Kindle so wondered if anyone can recommend."No, but I really want to...trots off to purchase :D
