Is it just me, or is Peter like balancing between good and bad?

I don't know what it is about him, I feel like he could be good underneath all of the bad.
Maybe just maybe, he'll be a love interest for Tris in Allegient?
I kind of hope he does, it'll stir things up.
Although I really do ship Fourtris!

no. i bloody well hope he wont be a love interest for Tris. :')
One of the reasons that I love the series so much is that it doesn't need a bloody love triangle to stir things up. love triangles just get annoying. really annoying. :'(
even if peter did develop feelings for tris, (which he wouldn't) tris would still hate him considering everything he did to her during initiation...
I do hope that Peter has a bit more character development, and that he does some more nice stuff, but if he became a love interest for Tris i just... no, just no... :P

I agree with him not being totally evil, like what he did in Insurgent (I don't want to spoil anyone but he did something kind of amazing and heroic to help Tris) and then he wouldn't even take credit for it I was so mad. He says he only did it so he didn't owe her anymore for saving his life which is such BS.
It's like he doesn't want to admit that he might not be all that bad, he won't take credit for saving her life and just brushes it off and it's really frustrating. I just want to grab him and shake him and tell him to stop acting like a dick. Hoping for more Peter redemption type stuff in Allegiant. I'd prefer him and Tris not go there romantically though.

He is playing for the side that is winning. I dont blame him.
However , he has an important job in the complex in Insurgent...I have a feeling he is maybe Jenny Mathews son/nephew. He is to invovled for just a fresh member of duantless.

And Tris saved his sorry Ass. I think he went to help the enemy to she could be in trouble so he could save her, making them even.

God, no. I think Peter is confused. Very, very confused. About everything, frankly. He is angry and malevolent. But, maybe he sees Tris' sacrifices and maybe he regrets what he did to her. Or he could just be evil. I'm leaning towards the evil side of the spectrum.
