Sarah (Workaday Reads) (wrkreads) I am looking to run a series of author interviews this summer about their book cover on my blog Workaday Reads. I am looking for both authors who designed their own cover and authors who had others design the cover for them. If you are interested, please send me an email at helpersarah2009(at)gmail.com answering the one set of interview questions:

Self-created covers:
•What was your intention for the cover?
•How did you create the cover?
•Are you happy with the end result?
•Is there anything you would change?
•What do you think the cover says about your book?

Created for you covers:
•Who created the cover?
•How much input did you have?
•What was the process to have the cover created?
•Are you happy with the end result?
•Is there anything you would change?
•What do you think the cover says about your book?

Hiya,

If you are still accepting requests, here is a quick glimpse of the cover I'd like to feature.

The Last Strand

I'll email you the info but if it would be great if you could list more details here (how big is the queue, criteria for selection, etc).

Cheers,

Sarah (Workaday Reads) (wrkreads) Thanks to everyone who emailed me. I think I have more than enough interviews for the summer. I will be getting back to everyone, please just be patient.

Thea Atkinson (theaatkinson) | 10 comments I suppose it's too late to jump in on this, but if not, I'd be happy to participate. I've designed my own covers mostly. I did have someone design one for me, but it just didn't match the genre that I was writing in good enough for me to keep it.

Jim Wills (strabaneboy) | 13 comments Sarah,

I've sent you an email about the covers for my four novel series and my wood-fired baking book, all professionally done.

message 13: by Judah (new)

Judah Freed (judahfreed) | 15 comments After doing the initial cover design from intuition with significant shifts suggested by a designer friend, I am now crowdsourcing the final color scheme for my cover. The experience has been exciting, illuminating and challenging. Happy to do an interview with you.
