Problem Separating Authors & Books - Chris Hadfield

There are two Chris Hadfields. I've separated them out per https://www.goodreads.com/librarian_m...

But a book still shows on the wrong Chris Hadfield profile.

Is this a caching issue? Or did I do something wrong?

You need to change the author in the book information page. One of the Chris Hadfields has different number of spaces between his first and last name.

Yep - that is intentional. Per the instructions in the manual.

So, Chris Hadfield the astronaut has 1 space.
Chris Hadfield the auto technician has 2 spaces.

What is weird is that on the Astronaut's page, 3 books are listed (2 correct and 1 not correct) but if you mouse over the links on the author name, they are actually pointing to the correct place.

So, astronaut's ID is 7160489.Chris_Hadfield
Auto tech is 7160489.Chris_Hadfield

If you look at https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... (astro's page), it lists 3 books.

But when you mouse over the author's name on those three books, the first two link to astro's (correctly and also the page you are on). The third links to auto tech's page (and shows up there as well). BUT it should not actually be appearing on astro's page.

So - is this a bug?
Technically, they seem to have been separated correctly. If you view auto tech's page https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... all his books show up correctly, including the one that is also listed on astro's page.

One of the two editions of the book still had Chris^Hadfield in the author field.
Fixed. I also combined the editions of An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth.
And I merged Chris^^Hadfield with Christopher Hadfield, since all his books but one have been published under this name.
