Todd (nerdytodd) I have librarian status and have a question that I couldn't find in the Librarian Manual.

What do you do when the book has no official "author" but instead has a publisher Ghost Writer such as the Vampire Diaries: The Hunters series?

It is misleading to leave the "creator" as the only author source. Is there already a policy on this that I just haven't found? Or, is it policy to leave author blank in this situation? Please advise.

Vicky (librovert) | 2462 comments L.J. Smith is the name listed on the cover and the name listed on WorldCat. Ghostwritten or not, L.J. Smith is who the books are credited to and she should stay as the author.
