Is it worth reading the 2nd?

Bianca Honestly, I hated the first book. I thought it was complete and utter garbage. I was wondering if the writing drastically improves in the sequel? Or does it remain horribly cheesy?

Betty Hernandez well in the second you get more of the back story to wendy's biological parents and also there is much more vitra this series is one of my favorites since it has an unusual ending and that's why loved them so much since its not something that's mainstream. If you want to know more about the bad blood and wendy's family history then you should continue reading

Dekotah Thompson The Switched Trilogy isn't for everyone and what exactly didn't you like? In my opinion it get way more interesting with new characters and everything. :)

No, it's not worth reading the second book. To me, the series gets much worse with each book. The characters get more annoying, the romance stays pretty cheesy, and the writing doesn't improve. If you didn't like the first one, you most likely won't like the second or third ones. Don't waste your time. Find something else to read. This series isn't for everyone.

I didn't like the way the main character acts. She's very bratty. Also (in my opinion) there was little to no description of anything. The other thing I disliked was the lack of action, which should of been made up in a nice romance. But it wasn't. The romance was very cheesy and quite juvenile. This book just wasn't for me.

Haley Everyone i just want to state the once you have read the 1st and 2nd book you are homefree. The 3rd book is the best and the most intriguing compared to the others. So my advice is keep reading and you'll be in for a pleasant surprise. My friend and i have already talked about what should be part of the 3rd movie like its soundtrack, even though there isn't a even a first movie out yet. :p

Katie The rest of the series gets better. The 3rd book is the best so it is worth completing the series, but that's just my opinion because I loved this trilogy:)

Justine saulnier it was good yes it is worth contuniuing with the next books. (i cant spell today lol)

How can people not like this story? I may have a thing for cheesy things but this is an original. I posted a snip on 'Wattpad' (reading site) and I had 567 comments saying everyone loved it and how it had originality.

Torn (the second book) was the best book out of the series becuase you meet you lovable and utterly sexy, Loki. Once you get sucked into his world, you fall in love with the series and you won't regret it! The writing was full on amazing and if I didn't lose the book, I would've happily read the book in one sitting.

Yes, you all have opinions but opinions have perspective, and in this case, I think all you negative people who hate this book should be called abominations!

Sorry, I needed to get that out after reading all those horrid comments...

Paranormal_Madness Oh my god! Someone dislikes a book I love? They must be abominations! Seriously, horrid comments? Some people just didn't like the book that much. Some of us hated Loki and thought he was a total creep. Don't worry about someone else's taste in books. If you liked it, you liked it. If not, so what? Damn.

nicely said i love this book so much its not normal sooooooo who ever said bad things about it they are just missing out

Cheyenne I got it for x-mas my grandma got it for me. and I read it a school and so I asked for it I was so happy to get it.

I thought that this books was so cliche. One girl is told she's a princess, doesn't want to be forbidden love, runs away. the second one was like "Oh I have to go back to the kingdom?!" Then she gets kidnapped, told an extremely stupid story, falls in love (AGAIN) and she has to get married to neither. I wouldn't read the second book.

Tina J I loved the trilogy, but if you hated the first book that much...then I wouldn't bother with the rest.
Why read something that you're not interested in?

Yuli's I just love this trilogy it was unexpected in most books u usually no who ends up with who but with these one you think she will end up with finn then surprise she ends up falling in love with someone else I really loved this series.

Madeline Dyer I read all three books, and whilst they didn't completely grab me all the time, I felt compelled to read the whole trilogy. I liked Amanda Hocking's style, but wasn't too keen on the ending to the third book, or who Wendy ended up with. Some of the other characters (like her father) seemed a bit one-dimensional to me, and many scenes were hard to imagine, not reading cinematically.

I so agree with you I felt the same way. I had to read the trilogy again just so I could understand why Wendy ended up with who she did. I now feel much more satisfied with the trilogy and it still remains a brilliant set of books to me.

Christi Waldron Loved, loved the trilogy and I'm always on the hunt to find something similar to this one cause I loved it so much!!

Madeline Dyer Christi and Maddie, have you read Richelle Mead's Storm Born (Dark Swan #1)? It's really good, and although it's more humorous and more realistically-written than the Trylle trilogy (and Storm Born is aimed at an adult audience, with explicit content) there's something about this book that reminds me of Switched...

Shari S I thought the whole series was great
