Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series is wow!! Shapeshifting alpha males with a streak of romance a mile wide. Like the BDB but without the dark edge. The series is going strong even after Book 11. :))) waiting for Vasic's story next!

Didn't like her Angels series so much though...

Alexandra Ivy: Guardians of Eternity series; Jeaniene Frost: Night Huntress and Night Price series; Karen Chance: Cassandra Parker and Dorina Basarab series; Jacquelyn Frank: Nightwalker and World of the Nightwalker series; Kerrelynn Sparks: The Love at Stake series.

If you read and like Christine Feehan, you might want to try Terry Spear. She has two shifter series. One is wolf shifters and her newest is jaguar shifters.

If you love time travel, the Outlander series is a must. As far as vampires, I also loved the Midnight Breed series. Good Luck!

Nalini Singh the whole series of psy books 11 of them you will so want to live in their world before long

both series are the kind where you have to get the next one because you get hooked

I'm currently reading Fallen series by Kristina Douglas. Four books about those fallen angels....,Raziel', Azazel, Michael the ArcAngel etc.....Its a great read.....KD's writing style is amazing.

Many of the series already listed are excellent! My personal favs are Kresley Cole's: Immortals After Dark, and Karen Marie Monings Fever series, but they are not the same premise as the BDB. The closest to Ward's BDB series I've read is Coreene Callahan's Dragonfury series. It's VERY similar: group of paranormal warriors living together, fighting evil to protect the human race, and being hot at the same time. When I read the 4th book I felt like I was reading a spin on Zsadist's story.

I think the Christine Feehan series are very similar to the BDB series, they are absolute brilliant book's!

Check out Joey W Hill Vampire series
a little darker, but her writing is so engaging you just can't stop till you have read the whole series then you wait for the next book.

Kresey Cole's Immortals After Dark is right up there with BDB ad Midnight Breed by Lara Adrian. If u didn't keep reading Jeaniene Frost, it does gets super hot

Thank you!! I love a lot of those series! Haven' read Laura Wright's Mark of the Vampire series or The Bayou Heat series. I think we like the same books and am excited to read those now :)
