The Handbook and Princess Curse

There has been some time since I read Merrie Haskell's first book and this second book. I was wondering if anyone recalled if Lord Parzifal is mentioned in Princess Curse, if anyone recognizes Sister Hildegard, and just what do you think of the combined elements of mythology and fairy tales.

SISTER HILDEGARD!!!! I don't recall Lord Parzifal, but the list of "Plants which Confer Invisibility" that the main character The Handbook writes is found in Hildegard's book by the girl in Princess curse. I like the combination, it's simple and not hard to keep up with. I really like everything about these books- except the ending of Princess Curse. Argh!

I agree with everything you say. Though, I felt like the Princess Curse will have a sequel. The author makes it out that she might, but maybe not. It's unclear still.
