78. Do you save trinkets and mementos? Yes. I save way too many things, actually. I'm not a hoarder, but I'm definitely a pack-rat.
79. Did you have a favorite toy as a child? I still love toys, to be honest. :) I used to love Polly Pockets, when I was a kid. I must've owned at least 30 of them. But my very favorite childhood item was my blanket (It had Mickey Mouse on it, with tie-dyed edges). My mom made me give it up when we moved because she said it was time for me to be a "big girl". I had just turned 9, and I took it really hard, because I was so attached to it; but she insisted, and I had to give in eventually.
80. Do you share a bedroom? I shared a bedroom with my sister until we moved when I was in fourth grade. Ever since then, I've been lucky enough to have my own room. It really is nice.

86. Do you have family members who live in another country? If so, which family members and where do they live. My mom has cousins who live in Vancouver, Canada; but I've never met them.
87. Which family member do you most resemble? My dad. We are very alike...both bookish, quiet, and resistant to the things that change around us.
88. Which family member are you more like? Out of all my family members, I think I take after my uncle the most. We have the same sense of humor, we both love to travel, and we can talk about almost anything comfortably. :)

90. Do you live in a house, trailer or apartment, etc.? I live in a house.
91. Have you ever won anything? If so, what did you win? Most of my awards are boring, academic awards. I was runner-up in the 5th grade spelling bee! (The word I missed was "aquatic"...'cause I know you were curious!) I won a $20 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble, which I spent on the fifth HP book. :) I won Oustanding Student Citizen in 8th grade, and I got a plaque, and the Presidential Achievement Award as a senior in high school. (I got a certificate that was signed by President Obama! Allegedly. I have a feeling he just stamped his name on there.)I was also a finalist in a district-wide high school essay competition, for which I won a certificate, and a seat at a conference on the craft of writing. I was on the Dean's List during my first semester of college. I never earned straight A's (and still haven't to this day) but I must be doing something right! :)
92. Do you prefer fresh air or air conditioned air? Fresh air! Unless it's muggy, and humid and hot. I find humidity annoying.
93. Do you prefer mountainous or flat regions? Mountainous regions!
94. What is your favorite reading material? Fiction books, mostly. Whatever you can think of, I'll give it a try. I mostly gravitate toward YA, though: dystopian, realistic fiction, fantasy...
95. Name all of the pets you have ever had? I've had three fish (Lightning, Flash, Bill the Betta Fish) and a dog named Bailey, whom I still have now.
96. Do you mow the lawn at your residence? No, I don't. We have a gardener that mows, and pulls weeds, and trims the bushes and trees...
97. Have you ever been in a musical drama or play? If so, what was it? When I was a junior in high school, I took AP English Literature, and we read "The Crucible" as a class. Instead of writing an essay as our final unit project, we had to perform select scenes from the play. It was awful...I hate performing. I didn't even manage to memorize all my lines. But luckily, we were graded in groups, so I didn't completely fail. Then again when I was a senior, I had to stand in front of the class and perform Hamlet's "To be or not to be..." monologue - and again, it was pretty awful.
I'm just not much of a performer.
98. Have you ever visited a planetarium? if so, where?
Yes, in 5th grade I took a field trip to some Egyptian museum, and they had a planetarium there, so we saw a planetarium show.
99. What is your favorite childhood memory? My mom, dad, sister and I going to the city (San Francisco). We used to get up and leave early, so we'd be pulling into the Mission District around 8 or 9:00 in the morning...and we'd go buy "pan dulce" - Mexican sweet bread. There's one bakery that makes it better than anyplace I've ever had since; and if you go in the early morning on Sundays you can get the stuff fresh and warm from the ovens...and oh my gosh, it's just wonderful. The best sweet bread in the area, in my opinion; but I forget the name of the bakery! It's been there for years, you can tell. But it's authentic, and delicious.
100. Do you usually buy or carry your lunch when at school? I usually make my own lunch; unless I'm home from class early enough where I can just eat at home. I try not to buy lunch too often, because it can get expensive quickly.
Melissa wrote: "77. Where do you keep your spending money? When I turned ten years old, my favorite aunt and uncle gave me a plastic ATM "bank" as a gift, to keep my money in; because they thought it was cute. I s..."

Cool :). I used to play with polly pockets too and I really want to go out of the country!!!!!

I don't have just one! My top three: Pineapple
Blackberries
Pears (Bartlett)
102. What color of clothing do you most like to wear?
I own a LOT of blue clothes - I wear mostly jeans, that's why - but it's not my favorite color. In fact, I'm not really a fan of blue, in general. Specific shades of blue, sure, but just plain blue, not so much. I love the color red, and I also like brighter/cheery colors. I live where there's a lot of fog, so maybe that's partly why...I like to contrast myself with the "blah" weather. :) I also love plaid! Okay, yeah, there's my answer. Plaid.
Plaid, plaid and more plaid!
103. What is your favorite cereal? It depends. Are we talking sugar cereal, or regular cereal, or all-time favorite? I don't really have an ultimate favorite, but... Sugary cereal's gotta be Cocoa Puffs, or Lucky Charms. That stuff is delicious! And as far as the "healthy" cereal...Crispix, I think. Or regular Cheerios. but y'know what, Honey Bunches of Oats makes "honey crunch" cereal now...with greek yogurt clusters in it, and it's SO good! (My mom bought some as a healthier option, and I ate it all! She has to buy more now. :) So that rates in there too; but it's not at the top. Yet. We'll see.
104. What is your favorite breakfast?
If I'm going out for breakfast, I usually order a Belgian waffle with fresh fruit on the side (unless it's served with fruit automatically), plus bacon (well-done...limp bacon is not worth the calories!) and a glass of milk. Sometimes I'll switch out the side of bacon for breakfast potatoes, if I'm in the mood.
If I'm staying home for breakfast, I usually go simple; with a greek yogurt (my current favorite flavors are key lime, coconut-vanilla, and pomegranate) and/or some cereal. Cold or hot cereal depending on the weather - if it's chilly out or I'm feeling wintery, then I'll go for oatmeal. Cinnamon and Spice, or Apple Cinammon. :)
I do not - I repeat - I do NOT enjoy my greek yogurt with fruit on the bottom of the cup. It's just not appetizing to me. (Is that even authentically Greek - yogurt with fruit on the bottom? Does anyone know? Anyone who actually lives in Greece by chance, I'd love to know!)

I own a lot of blue clothes too. To many really, almost to the point that its a problem because almost everything I wear is blue and I have no options

105. Who do you spend more time with?
My mom. Really just my family in general. I don't have a ton of friends, but then again, I never have. I tend to be super-quiet and a little awkward. Obsessive, and mumbly... just not very assertive. I usually let people approach me first; because I don't have the guts to say anything to them - even if it's just something simple like a casual "Hi, what's up?" It's something I've tried to work on for years, but now I'm thinking it's just the way I am. I'm just a shy person! :)
106. What is the longest car trip you have ever taken?
The longest car trip I have ever taken was a total of 12 hours long. From Mount Shasta, CA to Sedona, AZ; with a stop in Las Vegas, NV in between. My sister and I tagged along on one of my mom's business conferences, three summers ago. I didn't even really mind the drive, though. There's something I like about road-trips...they just have this mysterious beauty about them.
107. Do you know how to iron your clothes?
No, I don't, actually. My mom promised to show me how this summer, but so far she hasn't followed through. :( Maybe I should remind her...it seems like a good skill to have!
108. Can you sew a button on your clothing?
Everything I attempt to sew, I accidentally destroy. That would be a no. A definite no.
109. Have you ever cut your own hair?
Yes. I attempted to trim my split ends when I was 12...and I ended up trimming the edges of my hair all lopsided. My mom had to take me to get it evened out, and I got a stern talking-to about it. Then, when I was 15 I tried to cut my side bangs to make them shorter, because I didn't like that they were so long. (I was growing my bangs out at the time.) Well, the scissors slipped, and I ended up slicing off about four inches of my grown-out bangs. My mom was not happy, and this time she said she was going to make me pay to have it fixed. I didn't think it looked too dreadful at the time. so I left it alone. And then when I went for a real professional hair cut the stylist asked me if I cut my own hair, and I fibbed and said "No. I don't know how that happened." I thought I was real clever, obviously. She of course probably figured it out on her own; so I really didn't end up saving face at all.
But you haven't even heard the best anecdote yet! When I was about 8 years old, I was playing "beauty salon" with my sister and her stuffed animals. (She would've been 5 or so.) Now, you should know, I used to be the meanest, most un-forgiving toy/doll owner ever. I once gave Tinkerbell a buzz cut, because I thought she looked "cooler" that way. I would cut off Barbie arms and put tape around their arm stump - pretending she had a serious operation - stuff like that. (I dunno, okay? I was a strange, strange kid, and it all played into my elaborate fantasy stories I made up.)
Anyway, I digress. The point is, I knew my parents would get upset at me if they caught me defacing my toys that they had paid good money for...so I kept my Sid-from-Toy-Story activities from them, and only tortured my dolls in private. My sister didn't know anything; but when we played "beauty parlor", I suddenly had a fantastic idea. I would trim her Baby Kate's hair! (Baby Kate, from the TV show "Arthur, if you're familiar... was (and still is) my sister's most favorite stuffed animal.) So I took the scissors and trimmed the top of her hair off. Now, Baby Kate didn't have all that much hair to begin with...and once I was done with her, her strands were all uneven and crazy. My sister cried and cried, but I swore to her that the hair would grow back. And guess what?
It never did. And my sister still holds a grudge. :)
110. Are you creative in any way? If so, which way(s)?
Well, as you might be able to tell, I ramble. Is that a talent...not really; but I have perfected it over the years, and have come to the conclusion that rambling, like bull-****ing, is an art in and of itself. I also get a kick of writing short stories. Sometimes I'll write bits of dialogue and input them into the Google Translate program; and then have the Translate lady read it back to me. I really crack myself up with that.
No, seriously though: most of my "good" writing is from years ago. I haven't really attempted anything seriously in the past three years...I mostly write for personal pleasure in my journal. Now THERE's something you should see. Oh gosh...tangents, tangents everywhere!
I'm also currently working on a sketch of the New York City skyline - but having never actually traveled to NY, it's a bit of a struggle. :)
Whew. 110 questions, done. Now I can move on with my life!
Everyone. It's been an honor sharing all this stuff with you; and I enjoy reading your answers!

71. Have you ever had acrylic nails? No. I've heard acrylic nails ruin your real nails, and I don't want that.
72. Have you ever colored your hair? Nope. Perfectly fine with my brown hair!
73. What do you do when something funny happens? I'll laugh, usually. Unless someone is potentially injured, like if they trip on a curb or something...then I'll usually ask if they're okay first. :)
74. How do you earn money? I have a job.
75. Do you like to dance? I'm a horrible dancer. Like a really, really bad dancer.
76. Are you on any teams or in any clubs in your school? If so which ones? Not currently, but if choir counts, I sang during my first year of college, and for a year in middle school and high school. I LOVED it, it was so fun.
