Do you think it's strange that I don't believe in any of the stuff in real life, but I really enjoy reading about it and books?

Not at all. I definitely don't believe in this kind of stuff, but sometimes it's great in books. :) Just like my love of fantasy novels. I don't believe those worlds exist, but they're great to read about.

Chapter 27, I do have to say I like the camaraderie between all of them, I also wonder (view spoiler)[ what is up with Noah and how their dad died, and how Ronan is tied to it, and will there be love? (hide spoiler)] can anyone speak Latin? I can't! I'm not sure if they even teach it anymore, well not around here anyways :-) pretty much only Spanish.

One of my friends actually took Latin in high school. That was about five or six years ago, here in SC. Not all schools teach it though. And I don't think anyone is actually fluent anymore.

Wow! What a great book! I love a character driven book, and this for sure had amazing characters! I love them all! Who was your favorite boy? Can't wait to read the next book!

It's so hard to pick a favorite boy. I was leaning toward Adam at first, but Gansey grew on me. And Ronan and Noah have their own appeal. I'm really excited for the next book as well.

That's interesting because I don't really like the narrator.. His voice kind of puts me to sleep and my mind drifts off and I don't pay as close attention as I need to!

Maybe that was my problem.. I was listening at 3x speed.. I have tuned it down to 1.5 and it's much easier to follow now :)

Okay so I'm FINALLY 50% though and starting to like it more.. For a while it went really slow and I was quite confused with the magic and all the different boys. Now I'm starting to get to know the characters and try to figure out whats going on..

Just finished Chapter 23, which was really cool. I like the world building and getting to know more about the ley lines. The boys are also really cool, I thought Adam was my favourite but he is actually a little bit too quiet, Ronan is really growing on me with his sass.

Ending thoughts - I loved this paranormal/supernatural read! I'm excited for The Dream Thieves! This book probably is a set-up for that book.

I finished and I hate to say it but this book just wasn't my cup of tea. I can't put my finger on exactly what I didn't like. The writing was good and the character development was great but I just didn't like it that much =/

Is Artemus Glendower? I want to meet him. Ronan - holy crap dude. What is he indeed. The Raven Boys was so beyond weird. I loved it. Ordering the next book from the library now. I'm glad I get to discover more about Ronan because he was always so distant. I liked that this book didn't center around Blue and the kiss so much. It wasn't a romance book. It was a thinking one.
