As for Blue, I agree that she wasn't as outstanding as the boys in this first book, but I like her personality and I think she has a chance of becoming a very unique and amazing character. -Tbh I kinda don't like Ronan I'm sorry...
-I think it's funny how Blue is supposed to fall in love with Gansey but she's starting a thing with Adam lol
-I like Calla she seems cool
-One thing I find super funny is that here they are all shocked that Noah has been dead this whole time when in like chapter 4 he literally said "I've been dead for 7 years". Like I don't get the surprise? LOL
-Overall things seem to be moving a little slow but I'm determined to finish since I'm already half way done! (hide spoiler)]

So overall I thought, it was okay. Not bad and definitely a unique idea but I also wish it was a little faster-paced. I agree that Whelk deserved to go because he really was a selfish jerk. I do plan on reading the second one but I am kinda curious as to how Blue is going to deal with her "love triangle" or whatever it is since she's currently having something with Adam but the visions show that she falls for Gansey. We'll see though! Either way, it was interesting for sure (hide spoiler)]
