Say something about yourself, and end your statement with "How about you?" The next person answers, then posts their own statement. It can be reading related or not, something people may not know about you, something everybody knows about you, anything goes.

Example:
I always listen to audio-books before I go to bed, what about you?
The next person might say they don't listen to audio books but read at bedtime, then says their favorite color is red, How about you?
and the next person continues.

Just like in other games, if people happen to double post, or miss a post, we do the best we can and pick up wherever it left off.

My local art museum had a celebration today. They built a new wing to house the contemporary art and today was the opening. I took my kiddos and we had a blast! I love art of all kinds and make it a point to visit museums any time I travel. How about you?

message 3: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I also love art. I went to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston twice this year. It was quite interesting. The modern art was one of my favorites, aside from the Egyptian History. My favorite subject is English. How about you?

message 4: by Connie N. (new)

Connie N. Of course English was my favorite subject in school. Just loved reading and writing.
We just started our first vegetable garden this year, creating a raised-bed and planted tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. What about you?

message 5: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I used to have a garden. However, I travel a good deal in the summer and my husband always forgot to water and refused to pull weeds while I was gone, so the plants died. Now I don't have one. I enjoy running and one of my goals is to run in all 50 states. What about you?

That's a fun goal!

I am not a runner. I was in track & field in high school for shot put and discus. We had to run a lot in practice. That was over 20 years ago and that is the extent of my running. I really think some people are just not cut out for it. My legs are way too short, lol. :)

I do however love to walk. Especially if I'm somewhere pretty. I love being outside in nature. How about you?

message 7: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments built for distance not speed. here too. my goal in the next year is a half marathon. I just assume I'll be one of the last but i'll do the distance. my training plan has me up to 7 miles right now. my race shirt says 0-13.1 in sub 8 years. 2006 was the last time I used my wheelchair after an extended injury recovery. my first attempt will be September. if not then, it will be April.

message 8: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I am not a runner but I want to try and get into it. I'm trying to lose weight and I wouldn't mind running for 20 minutes a day for it. I do love being outside as well. the world is gorgeous and I wish we had more time to admire the blooms. Dancing is something that has always been a part of my life since I could walk. How about you?

message 9: by AngryGreyCat (new)

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) I'm not a dancer, I did ballet as a child but I was never particularly graceful. I was never a runner (except by force in gym class) but now I am training for a 5k. Will see how it goes. I am starting yoga now to work on my flexibility.

How about you?

message 10: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder Not interested in yoga. I also like to hike and take picture as I go. How about you?

message 11: by Iamabibliophile (new)

Yoga is a really good way to get flexibility back...I need to do it again, it's been ages.

I like to hike as well. I promised myself I would do more of it this summer but the last time I went out I got chiggers so bad it turned me off. I tend to hike while letterboxing. How about you?

message 12: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments pressing the agree button for hiking while letterboxing, or boxing while hiking.

message 13: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I need to try yoga now! Lol. I want that flexibility. I'm dying to do a split. I don't go hiking though. I'm afraid of heights. How about you?

message 14: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder Not afraid of heights. However, I do feel claustrophobic when I am in tight spots (like sleeping bags and caves.) How about you?

message 15: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments I do sometime s get claustrophobic which is why I like the desert more than the dense forests. how about you

message 16: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I actually like both, but I wouldn't want to be lost in either place. What about you?

message 17: by Iamabibliophile (new)

Iamabibliophile | 169 comments Mod
I'd much rather be lost in the woods. I wouldn't have a clue what to do in the desert.

I tried spelunking (caving) once...exactly once...and it was more than enough for me. How about you?

message 18: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments I would rather be lost in a desert (and have been). you can lift up your head and look way out for land marks. in a forest it all looks the same and land marks are hidden.

I've never been willing to cave crawl. nor do the lions leap on a ropes course, but I have no great of driving cross country or hiking solo.how about you

message 19: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) Those all sound very adventurous but I've never done any. I'd rather travel to cities and countries. Maybe I'll try forests but i fear certain animals that i will probably find there. When I get married, I want it to be at a beach. How about you?

message 20: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I've been married for a long time, but did not get married at the Shore (what we call it in NJ). I don't like sand in my shoes or sandals. How about you?

message 21: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments I don't like sand in my shoes or sandals either. Give me a rocky or dirt trail instead. I will soon climb up to the wild horses at Vantage. HAY (how about you)?

message 22: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I don't know anything about wild horse at Vantage (where or what is that?) However, there are horses in Chincoteague, VA. This is one of my favorite places to visit. How about you?

message 23: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I am terrified of horses. They creep me out. My favorite place to be is my room lol. How about you?

My favorite place to be is a challenging question to answer. At home, my favorite place is a chair in my library with a book and a chai tea.

My ultimate favorite place to be is La Jolla, California. Google it. Love the cove and children's beach too. How about you?

message 25: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder My favorite place to be in New York City. I love the energy, the wide variety of people and places to see and things to do. How about you?

message 26: by AngryGreyCat (new)

AngryGreyCat (angrygreycatreads) My favorite place is Cornwall, England where I spent a couple vacations as a child with my family.

message 27: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I have been to Cornwall and loved it.

Love England. Haven't been to Cornwall but I did get to visit Bath and it was just lovely.

message 29: by Connie N. (new)

Connie N. I've been to La Jolla, NYC, and England and enjoyed them all for various reasons. I've never been to a tropical island, though, and would love to stay somewhere sunny and warm with lots of sand and a swimming pool bar. How about you?

message 30: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder Not interested in tropical islands. However, I have visited the Galapagos Islands which was a great experience. What about you?

Wow, I am so envious. Galapagos is the number 3 island to visit on my list. I've been to several beautiful islands(thanks mom and dad!) My top 3 still left to visit are Bora Bora, Bikini Atoll (not really an island), and Galapagos.

I'd wither away if I had to live in a city. How about you?

message 32: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder No, I love the life and vitality of cities. I do like nature preserves, especially those in cities. How about you?

message 33: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I love cities as well! I just wish the people there were more like people from towns. Although, I must say that people from the city are interesting and very creative. At least the ones I've bumped into lol.

message 34: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I cannot have a lot of chocolate. I can have a Snickers but not chocolate icecream. It makes my stomach turn. I prefer white chocolate. How about you?

message 35: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder I can't have a lot of chocolate either. It gives me a very bad headache. I can eat small amounts, like an Almond Joy or Butterfingers. I have celiac disease and can't eat gluten. How about you?

message 36: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I have slight scoliosis. That's about as close as a disease as I get. Diabetes runs in my family but I haven't been diagnosed with it yet. Hopefully, I won't. I can eat sushi for the rest of my life. How about you?

I have tried and tried sushi but do not like it. I'm sure one day I'll develop a taste for it. I could eat north indian food for the rest of my life. How about you?

message 38: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) Sushi actually isn't all raw. I eat the cooked ones only. Try Shrimp Tempura Rolls. It's delicious!

My family doesn't like Indian food, so I don't have it often. I do like to travel to different places, though I haven't made it to India. How about you?

Jaedlyn wrote: "Sushi actually isn't all raw. I eat the cooked ones only. Try Shrimp Tempura Rolls. It's delicious!"

I've tried only the ones without raw seafood. I think it's just me. I grew up on bbq and fried food...not seafood. I think that's why I don't care for it.

message 41: by Adrienne (new)

Adrienne I grew up on BBQ too, but I still love me some sushi! I think my favorite sushi place is The Drunken Fish. How about you?

message 42: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I have too many favorite sushi spots! I can never get tired of it. I grew up on spanish food mainly. This involves sweet plantains (platano maduro), rice (arroz), beans (habichuelas), any type of meat, stew (sancocho), and rice pudding (arroz con leche). How about you?

message 43: by Connie N. (new)

Connie N. Nope, no sushi, no Spanish food. My parents are plain old Yankee Americans, so I have plain old Yankee taste buds, I guess.
I was born and raised in New England. It's hot now, but we get lots of snow in the winter. How about you?

message 44: by Jaedlyn (new)

Jaedlyn ✨ (lepoet_femme) I am too! I'm in Massachusetts. How about you?

message 45: by ☯Emily (new)

☯Emily Ginder No, I have visited Massachusetts, but I live in New Jersey. How about you?

I've been to 36 states and one commonwealth. I'd like to finish visiting them all but at the moment I'm focused on National Parks. I can't wait to get to Yellowstone and Yosemite. My next visit is to the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore. How about you?

message 49: by Baqash (new)

Baqash | 106 comments I've been to 37 states and on commonweath and likely will never get to HI or AK as I don't fly (causes physical pain not fear) I would like to someday see New England in the fall. I hear it is gorgeous. Yellowstone is awesome. the best way to see it is to spend a week. Too much to take in on a weekend driveby. At least that is what I think. How about you.

message 50: by Connie N. (new)

Connie N. New England in the fall is wonderful, although probably not appreciated as it should be by us natives. (I'm in Massachusetts too, go figure.) I totally agree that you can't appreciate a place until you've stayed there for a longer time than just a quick trip, like so many do on their vacations.
Can't wait for our trip to Myrtle Beach next month. I work full-time in an office so am looking forward to time off. How about you?
