Julie (evilbooklady) | 5 comments Hi, these two books by Galadriel Waters & Astre Mithrandir are classified as two editions of the same book, but they're completely different:

Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter: Analysis of Books 1-4 (0972393617, 9780972393614)
--and--
Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter: Analysis of Book 5 (0972393641, 9780972393645)

All of the text in the books is different. Another book of theirs, "... Analysis of Book 6," is rightly classified as a separate book, but "1-4" and "5" are classified as brother editions, preventing me from adding "5" to my book list.

Also, these two X-Files books by Ngaire Genge are classified as two editions of the same book, but they're not (thus preventing me from adding BOTH books to my list):

The Unofficial X-Files Companion II (http://www.amazon.com/The-Unofficial-...)
--and--
The X-Files Lexicon: X-References from Anti-Walton to Zuni (http://www.amazon.com/The-X-Files-Lex...)

The Unofficial X-Files Companion II is strictly a detailed episode guide of season 3, whereas The X-Files Lexicon: X-References from Anti-Walton to Zuni is an encyclopedic book of people, places, and things from seasons 1-3.

Thanks for your help. :)

For future reference (even though it doesn't apply in a case like this where things are wrongly combined), you can add two editions of a book to your shelves: http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/71...
