Probably Christmas because I get to spend so much time with my family and eat a ton of Christmas cookies! :)

How are you going to (or for people who are in a different time zone: how did you) spend your Valentines Day?

I will be spending my Valentine Day with my family. We are going out eating, and then tonight me and my younger sister are having a sleepover in her room and we are staying up all night eatching romantic comedies.

Do you like receiving chocolate on V-day or would you like something else?

[Sarah]

I love chocolate!!! I am currently feeling sick having eaten to many strawberry champagne truffles. It's a hard life!

In honour of my cousin Beckie who got engaged today my question is; would you like to be proposed to on Valentine's day or do you think it's too cheesy?

I think it would be too cheesy. My husband proposed to me a few days after my birthday about 3.5 years ago. My mom had gone on vacation together, and we were getting back at the airport, and he and my dad came to pick us up. He had a bright yellow (my favorite color) sign that said "NAN" (my nickname). I walked closer to him, and he turned the sign around. It said "Will You Marry Me?" on the back. He then got down on one knee and everything. :) It was so sweet. We even got a round of applause from everyone at the airport in the baggage claim! Lol!

What do you look for in a book when you need to figure out what to read next?

When I'm getting ready to start a book that is not scheduled, like a read to review or beta read, I start by scrolling through the hundreds of books I've one clicked and have waiting to read (sad, I know). I read the synopsis of the books whose covers catch my eye until I find one that looks appealing to my mood at that time. I might be in the mood for a different genre or different mood (happy, sad, funny, etc.).

Male characters, preferred look? Hair, eye, skin color, etc.

My male character's preferred look is black hair and ice-blue eyes, with a nice tan. This is all because I grew up being in love with the movie Little Mermaid (still am) and Eric was my dream prince lol...

Beauty and the beast! Still one of my favourite movies now :)
