I am still reading this book and have to put it down quite frequently. It infuriates me to read about all the unprofessionalism and incompetence on the part of the police department. Can we say PREJUDICE and BIAS?

My Kindle app is showing 37% or page 177/417 Chuck.

I think this was a very accurate analogy Chuck. Loved it!

I was really perplexed by this Chuck. You would think most police departments would send someone over immediately if a restaurant manager called and said there was blood everywhere in the bathroom.

I would like to read up on this a little more. The appeals, transcripts, etc. Very interesting and extremely sad case.
I might just have to get that one. Thanks Chuck!
I can only imagine Scott. Just think if they would have put that boy to death.

I just checked with my library and they have this book Chuck. I put it on reserve. Should only take 3-4 days to get it.

I have it checked out from the library right now, but I need a few days to catch up on the two I'm currently reading. If you guys want to read it, could we start maybe Monday 21st? Life After Death

OK, just give me a little notice and I will check it out again from the library.
I was referring to Life After Death. Have already read Devil's Knot: The True Story of the West Memphis Three.

Yes, definitely! It will probably evoke a lot of strong emotions if you're anything like me.

I read a little bit of LAD the other day. I could probably tear through it pretty quick, but I really want to read THE DEVIL'S KNOT first.
It did take me a while to read. There was a lot of talk about depositions, mental evals, and the sort. It took me a little while to piece all of it together. Let me know when you guys finish reading Devil's Knot and I will check out LAD at the library again.
