I quite liked it! I'm a huge fan of Katie West and usually her name is enough for me to read whatever she writes.

I liked the ending, I like the romance, and the twist was out of left field for me but makes sense considering how much her mom hates these types of people.

I'm a bit upset to be honest though, because everyone's kind of okay with the parents? I don't know how okay I'd be if they had abandoned my mother when she needed them most?

Caymen is fun character. I like her sense of humor and the way she helps her mom without giving her trouble for needing to help out in the store.

I have this terrible feeling that Caymen's mom is sick with a serious disease, or she thinks might be, because of her behavior (super tired, closing the store early, lying to her daughter about depositing the money, etc). I'm really hoping I'm wrong, as that would be terrible, but it's just the feeling I have.

Xander seems like a nice guy. I hope his "girlfriend" isn't really his girlfriend but either just a friend or some sort of publicity thing. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Such a sweet story, I loved it! This is the second book by Kasie West I've read, the first was On the Fence (which was amazing!), so I'll definitely be looking to read more by her.

I thought it was a little easy how quickly everyone got along (grandparents, her mom, and Caymen), but then again they had years to regret their decision and it sounded as though Susan tried her best not to be found even if they had wanted to find her.

I'm glad that Susan's condition, while serious, wasn't something that couldn't be treated and that she will get better. (hide spoiler)]

Her parents seem to regret their decision for abandoning their daughter and they seem like nice people but I was a little disappointed how easy it was for the mother to decide and allow them back in her life.
