I really don't have anything to read as far as a cozy. Any recommendations?

Robin: Check out the group "bookshelf" (link at top right of page) for plenty of recommendations from others in this group! ; )
Robin Hathaway was on a mystery panel at the Collingswood Book Festival (in NJ) on Saturday. She was really funny and sweet. Looking foward to reading her "Doctor" series ...Has anyone read them?
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I hope it's okay to put it here. I just finished a Book Trailer for Old Murders Never Die and it's up on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTBOpz... . If anyone has a moment, I think some of you might like it. This was my first attempt and I actually think it turned out pretty good. I'm always open to suggestions though. The only problem I had was the font on some old photos. I couldn't find a good color that worked. ??
Next up:
, just arrived from *sniffle* BookSwap. Then one of the Carola Dunn I borrowed from the library. Probably
or
.Of course, I also promised myself
and
. So one of these will be it.I just can't keep up with all the good stuff I hear about in this group!

I have "Murder By Proxy" on my Kindle and have been meaning to get around to it for quite some time. Hopefully, it won't wait much longer.Patricia
My love for Dancing with the Stars prompted me to buy Quickstep to Murder (a ballroom dance mystery), the first in a new series. The reviews look promising, so I'm anxious to start it ~

Almost done with this one and really like it!
I'm reading Sue Grafton's T is for Trespass now (already read U), and next up are Cream Puff Murder, Plum Pudding Murder, Apple Turnover Murder, and Devil's Food Cake Murder to get me caught up with Joanne Fluke's books. They make me so hungry!

Happy Reading, Melodie! It sounds like a fun read, but then Gayle's books always are.
Ummm, I sort of started Track of the Cat yesterday because I was at the dentist and one of my other books is on my notebook and the other is a hardcover and it was raining really hard. Anyway, I won't read any more until Tuesday when I go back to the dentist again so I guess this is my next cozy.

Read both of them and thought both were great first runs for new series!

Thanks Melodie - I guess it will be eeny meeny . . .
I've read all three of Julie Hyzy's White House Chef series so thought I'd try her Manor House Mysteries. Started Grace Under Pressure
the other day and it is pretty easy reading. Not very unlike the other series though--just the characters and setting has changed.
Melodie wrote: "Will start
this evening."Melodie, I've got that one on my Kindle Wish List...so I'm curious to see if you like it!
The next cozy on my list is
, by Jenn McKinlay. It's the third in the cupcake bakery series, and I loved the first two so I'm anxious to dive into this one ~
Kaye wrote: "Next up for me is
. Don't you just love that cover?"The cover is luscious. Cozy mysteries, above all, have the most intriguing covers!

And titles! I love some of the creative titles!

It was a lot of fun to put together.
Pamela wrote: "I am getting ready to start The Quiche of Death. New series for me :)"I <3 Agatha. The first book I was kinda surprised at and not too impressed with her, but I got used to her by the end and had to see what would happen. I think I'm most swayed by the fact that I can see character development in Agatha throughout the series. She's growing and learning and changing and that's the point.

I agree on both counts. The covers and titles always make me smile. :-)
I know many get annoyed with Diane Mott Davidson, but was able to get one I had not read by her and so glad to read her again:

That series is so colorful delightful looking.

Funny and interesting sounding.
I just found The Case of the Baker Street Irregulars at a used book store. I don't know if it's still in print but I'm very excited to start it because the actual Baker Street Group was referenced both in The Murder Room and The Sherlockian. Very cool.
