Does anyone know that the time will be in Ireland when the challenge ends? I would try to check on the world clock or something but I'm not sure where exactly the challenge started at midnight, if that makes sense? Thanks!

The challenge is based on pacific standard time (PST). If you are going by city, I would just pick Los Angeles (LA) for the world clock. I think you are 8 hours ahead in Ireland (I would double check that), so when it is 11:59pm on July 14th in LA, it would be 7:59am on July 15th in Ireland?

Yes, I teach grade one. For the longest time I taught grades 4 and 5. Last year I switched to grade one.
