ABANDONED. Special powers enter into a grove

This is a series in which many people have special powers and they often com into them when they are in their teens. Once they develop these powers they have the ability to enter into a hidden grove. The female protagonist is past her teemn and thinks she doesn't have any but ends up developing them in her 20's

Is it written for teens/ YA?

Does it take place in our modern world, or in some magical realm, or... ?

It actually sounds a bit like my memory of another book someone is looking for - did you try searching the discussion posts here?

Was this YA or adult? Was the bit about the girl getting her powers the main story arc of the book, or did that happen near the beginning and the story followed her after she got her powers?

Has the grove part, and the developing magic part, but the protagonist situation is a little different.

In Lirael, the protagonist cannot enter the holy center of the Clayr because her Sight has not developed when it should. She ends up with a different power set.
