Peter wrote: "10:45pm... and sitting here feeling horrified that nothing happened to anybody since last June!"ha, or, we all got embarrassed to keep writing "I'm on Goodreads"
6:15am and I should be in the shower and then getting ready for work -not playing around on Goodreads☺
I'm, pausing between teaching English lessons in Busan. It's Saturday, 12:14 PM. We will begin our next lesson with the idiom "on the level."
It is 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. Getting reading to knit the toe of my red socks ( go sox!) and listening to Miles Davis autobiography.
it is 4:06 pm here on the east coast of the usa and i am about to go to lunch/dinner. i work the evening shift tonight.
It is 4:30 pm here in Cambridge MA on the east coast of the USA and I'm going home at 5:00 - Yippie!!!! So glad I don't have to work late tonight. :-)

So glad I don't have to work late tonight. :-)"i actually prefer it unless i have a meeting to attend. 12-8pm is not bad. when i worked retail it was bad. we closed at 9pm but sometimes the store was a mess and we didn't leave until 10. so yeah, that was no fun. also i worked 2 jobs so that was a 12-16hr day for me depending.
It is 6:00 pm I am home and getting ready to continue listening to Miles on audio book and knit my socks. When I work nights it is on top of an 8 hour day, that is why I'm so happy. Working 9am to 10:30pm is a drag.

"yes! so glad i quit my PT job. since i wasn't disciplined enough not to buy from the store it wasn't really extra money. now i can go to extra church meetings and do laundry after work instead of on the weekends/days off.
It is 9:00pm, time for bed. I finished Miles! Excellent audio book, not sure I would have enjoyed the print version as much. I'm glad I stayed home and listed to it instead of going to the Church Meeting, I am pretending I forgot about it.

Yes I was, what a great listen! Enjoyed it very much and only had 30 more minutes of listening time last night which is why I chose to play hooky from the church meeting and finish the book.
8:15pm. Sitting in the drive thru at chick fil a and listening to roots. Today was a very long day for me.
Happy Birthday Lulu!!!!! I hope it is a great day for you.It is 1:15 pm (eastern) - I am at work typing up the minutes from the Roundtable meeting last night. Well, I should be working on the minutes, lol.
Lulu wrote: "11:19 am (central) - at work (It's my birthday!), reading The Lost Order by Steve Berry."Happy Birthday! if you have leave, next time take a week off for your birthday. i started doing that like 2 years after i had a job with leave. even if i don't do anything that week but read and catch up on tv series, i still take time off. i got the idea forma lady in my church that celebrated her birthday the whole month. she didn't take off the whole month but just did lil things everyday that made her happy. i don't do that yet.
I learned, from a nice old lady, that every year that ends with a zero needs to be celebrated all year long. I wish I had learned this early, like in my 20's. Anyway, if your birthday is on the 8th of September (which just happens to be mine), when you turn 20, or 30 or 40 or 50 etc., celebrate the 8th of every month for the whole year. it does not need to be a big celebration. It can be as small as a nice long bubble bath or a glass of wine with dinner. Or an new dress or haircut. Sleeping late? Anything out of the ordinary. As I get older I may begin to celebrate the 8th every 5 years, just to make sure I celebrate enough.

it is 2:45 pmI am at work getting the meeting agenda for the regular school committee together, putting the books for the members and the cabinet together and then typing orders. It is a hard and hectic day.
Looking forward to my mani pedi after work.

6:42 AM...correspondence, i.e. email, social media. All those things that distract me from what I should be doing, which is writing. :)

Multitasking also, going through emails, washed my hair and getting ready to head to the office for a little bit.
