what time is it and what are you doing?
6:29pm central...browsing Goodreads while on a conference call at work (who does this?!?! especially this late in the evening...smh) and thinking about dinner.
9:32pm watching best of no nation wondering if it's a book. Does anyone check for a book when watching a good movie?

I checked and then immediately stopped watching and reserved the book at the library lol.

I agree it is a very good book and well worth reading.
It took be a minute to figure out you were talking about Beasts of No Nation.
I have not seen the movie as for me the book is always better but I have heard good things about this movie - so maybe.

Autocorrect on this stupid phone lol. Yes Beast of no Nation. And the movie (what I saw) was excellent. Whoever did that one should have no Half of a Yellow Sun.

LoL! Yes, I understand that perfectly! All the best with that. I found that the app didn't help me at all!

I'm writing a manual on the ancient Ayurvedic healing practice of marma . In conjunction with my training, already completed, it is to complete my certification to be a marma practitioner.

2101 GMT - about to treat myself to a bath as I'm home with my Mum and here we have a tub :-)

I'm at home, finishing late breakfast before continuing to declutter my abode by hauling unused stuff to the Sally Ann.

Can't lie though.... it's really been fun!

Finishing morning toilette before yoga then Saturday chores. Started a new book, H is for Hawk by Helen MacDonald.

giggling geekily to myself after helping to test a shell script that makes Linux systems easy to install on my recalcitrant laptop!
11:12am Just downloaded a new time travel bookThe Clay Lion that seems interested. Now I'm gonna read it.
10:19AM - Wednesday....at work with nothing on my calendar so I'm gonna try to get through some more of The Blackbirds. I'm remembering why I don't read EJD...his books really don't do anything for me.

Oh oh. I use to read his books too. I wanted to read this one though. Ok so I'll move it further down the TBR list lol

I liked his Gideon series though. I read Sleeping with Strangers, Waking with Enemies and I have Dying for Revenge but I haven't started it yet. I enjoyed his early books more, I admit.

LOL too late Lulu
