I liked the book by Nella Larson better than the movie; nothing new with that, I suppose. What blew my mind was Halle Berry in the Bruised movie.
It is 10:00 p.m. in Boston, MA and I am lounging in my pj’s that I just finished sewing in my beginning sewing class.
It’s 7:30 in NJ and I just finished watching an embarrassingly hokey Christmas romance movie. So bad, but I’ve been glued to this spot for an hour and a half. Hahaha…🤣

She's a great actress, isn't she?

Bruised was so good.
Have fun in sewing class
1:43pm zoning out at work while listening to a great playlist coworker made for staff day. my to do list has gone. no idea what i planned to do today. my evening shifts are always like this. starting the workday at 12pm throws me off.

2:00 pm watching sappy Christmas movies and crying because they are so corny and wonderful. I should be cleaning my house, 😊

It's just called the virtual mystery book club. it is not on GR but for work.
11:10 pm CST: Doing Bills and binge watching Mexico Life! It’s super cold in MN and these tropical shows help me cope.
It's 7:42 and I have laundry to move into the dryer, a dishwasher to finish loading (boring chores!) etc, but I am procrastinating on GR
1:50p... On a Cruise, sailing on (or is it 'in') the Persian Gulf... It's our Day At Sea day...Relaxing in my cabin, ready to start Eric Jerome Dickey's ONE NIGHT

Wish I was there! 😎

Same here... Now that I've returned 🤭
6:48p... Currently, I'm lounging in bed, catching up with the THE VIEW (the last of 10 DVR'd episodes)
3:25 pm on a Sunday afternoon. I'm "actively procrastinating" which is one of my favourite Sunday afternoon activities.
3:29 pm me too! Actively procrastinating. I have a laundry basket of clothes needing folding and my bills that need to be paid and I am getting to it! I am! The pen is in my hand. But I just need to check a few things first on goodreads.
Just waking up on the East Coast. First thing this morn, check GR for TBR list. Then a cup of tea/coffee with some fruit. Wake up my grandson so he doesn't miss the school bus/or his lil friends at the bus stop. Awww, the retired life is the life for moi!
9:40 am and I am at work looking for my next read (which I think I've found, The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America's Great Migration. And I am also doing a little investigative work on a book I just finished Things Fall Apart and trying to gain perspective as to why so many people loved this book that I just can't see the gem in.
Kisha! I felt the same way after reading it. I was like is this one of those books that people tell you is great, but no one really tells you why. Anyway, that was in my younger days…I have since purchased the trilogy and I hope to get some better insight….whenever I pick it up. Lol

It is 1:35 p.m. My hubby and I left Rome, GA at 10:30 this morning and, and we are in Knoxville, TN on our way to Boston, MA. Pray for us 🙏🏽
Prayers going up for you and hubby, Dosha. Enjoy the scenery on the road trip, especially if you are the passenger...lol!
Thank you so much, lol. Yes, I am going along for the ride as the copilot. We have made it to Bristol, Virginia. Hopefully, we will get to Roanoke and quit for the day.
It’s 10:30 and I’m just laying here thinking about “starting”my day. If it wasn’t for coffee I would stay here until noon. No judgment zone! LOL!
It was 10:45; we left at 10:00 a.m. We are in upstate New York on the last leg of our road trip. I am crocheting a throw and am the copilot.
