So, I have one buddy read but my partner didn't show up while we supposed to read. I tried to discuss my progress but I kind of feel like talking to myself since there is no one who can discuss it with me. Does it still count as buddy read?

It's You Against Me by Jenny Downham (under romantic/realistic buddy reads). I don't know whether or not my effort enough for buddy reads, though :)

That's exactly what you're supposed to do.
Jalyn, I have another question :D I'm reading
now but then realize that it will buddy read on July 15th. I want to join the discussion. I'm wondering will it count as buddy reads since I started it earlier that its schedule?
I just want to say that I love this challenge. I don't know how much I will get done or how well I will do but I love it. At the beginning of summer, I was 14 books behind my yearly goal and because of the CYS challenge I am now only 9 books behind. I expect to catch up to my goal pretty quick. Thanks for this challenge.

Greta I really do enjoy this group as a whole. For quite some time I just kind of would visit this group but not take part in anything. I think the Clue Challenge was my first time joining in and I loved it. This MMC has been a great challenge and I have really enjoyed all of the buddy reads too. I haven't liked all the buddy read books but I have enjoyed all the discussions. This really is a great group. :) :)

Wow! I'm really not that far down! I don't think I have any hopes of getting to the top, but top 10 really isn't that bad. I just need to read enough books to stay there.

Help....I have a major buddy reads problem...I keep signing up for buddy reads and can't keep them straight.....too many books to read and not enough time

I've finished my participation in this challenge- there's no way I'll finish another book today.And to the mods, you have my admiration, tallying up those points won't be easy

Thanks, Abbie! I was just reading reviews! I have to ask you...did you ever finish the Cover Buddy part of the Buddy Up challenge. I know you did at least 10 buddy reads and that you got Spell Buddies.

Thank you Tatiana! Hopefully because we did the mid-month challenge and we've been sub-totalling after most of the individual challenges, we should be alright. :)

And four books / seven favorites in mimic mods. Three of them were buddy reads, if i remember correctly. Not sure how many cover buddies were buddy reads though. :)
Sarah, I'm pretty sure you're gonna take first place in this challenge, almost 50 buddy reads in a month? That's crazy
She should be hors concours for this one LOL :)

Hors concours? It's when someone is so certain to win that they give this person the prize anyway, but as a separate category from the other contestans. It's quite a distinction, actually.

This was a fantastic challenge. Because of this challenge, I went from being 14 books behind my year reading goal to one book ahead of my goal. I didn't do all aspects of the challenge but I loved it. I read so much this summer so far and had some great buddy read discussions. I for sure will not get my last book read before midnight. I have a busy day today. Thanks Mods for a great challenge. Thanks also to my partners, for the partner portion of the challenges. This was the challenge of all challenges!
