Thanks for your reflections, must admit that my goal was to write a short review and include my opinion of books straight after I'd finished them, but alas!
So its good to have the goals there even if we don't fully achieve them.
If you're struggling with time issues you might like to try short story books. You can read a story in one sitting so no problems with continuity. I've just finished "Our story begins" by Tobias Wolff.
Check out my short review where I've recommended a few of my favourites that you might like to sample.

Great to hear you find Goodreads worthwhile, Henry, and sounds like you're going well with your reading.
Do you also read Chinese language books?
ps. I'll investigate the name change. In the meantime, perhaps you can add your name at the end of each post so we all will know who you are.

Remember you were asked to read more widely, so what have you been reading? and how does this fit into your challenge? If you are far from your goal, why? And what can you change to meet that? Is it achievable? If you are close to achieving that goal you could expand it to add a greater depth of challenge. Mrs Johnstone and I are happy to help.
