Help! How do I ... on Goodreads?

We've had a few questions about Goodreads functionality from new (and old!) VBC members, so my fellow mods and I thought it would be nice to have a place for everyone to ask questions and advice from those Goodreads gurus among us.

Ask here or feel free to PM any of the mods with what's stumping you about navigating the group or Goodreads in general, and we'll try our best to track down an answer for you.

And to those gurus: feel free to jump in if you have an answer too =D

It's actually under your personal account settings on Goodreads. If you click on your avatar at the top right, there's a drop down that'll show up with "account settings" at the bottom of the list (right above "log out"). Click on the "emails" tab at the top of the page, then scroll down to "group email preferences" at the very bottom. There's a checkbox that says "email me when one of my groups is about to start reading a new book".
