Questions
These may not be the ones I use. (let me know which ones sound good)Reading Soundtrack: Get the book you are currently reading and pick a song that fits it and let us know why you chose that song.
Spine Poetry: You know what this is already.
Mid Readathon Questionnaire: This will probably be Day 4 and it will just be a few questions about your progress and how you are enjoying the readathon.
Book Shopping Spree: Someone gave you $100 to spend on books. What books would you get?
Rainbow Book Covers: Tell us your favorite covers. One cover is red, one orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink.
They sound good. :) I like the questionnaire. I'm not sure I get what you mean by "One cover is red, one orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink."
Like out of any books you pick your favorite cover that is red. You pick your favorite cover that is orange. So on and so forth.
Gisbelle and I were thinking of having another week long readathon from March 24-30. Is this a good week?
Great! Glad that week works for you! Not sure if that is the official week yet but we should have one soon. We have a special twist this time around! :D
Angela (: wrote: "Doesn't work for me. Oh well. :/"I'm so sorry to hear that! Since it is a week long though maybe you can get some reading in! :P
Sarah wrote: "How does the most recent one work, since it's over several days?"I am not entirely too sure what this question is asking. You just read as much as possible over the time span of the one week!
Jacquelyn, no read-a-thon week "works for me" unless it's summer or I'm on a break. But it will give me the impetus I might need to read as much as possible when I might feel like slacking. Lol I am off THIS week for our "spring break." Lol
LOL! Well I will be busy too during the week of the readathon but like you, I will try to read as much as possible. Enjoy your spring break!
Thanks, Jacquelyn! :) The read-a-thons are always fun knowing a bunch of us are all reading together!
You know it just dawned on me that that will be a crazy busy week for me because our last set of pages are due to the publishing plant on the 31st. So I will read as much as I can but now that I think about it I might not get to read nearly as much as I would like to!! :( But I'll join to whatever extent I'm able! :)

I am checking the times that people have to start, but sorry I can't really get up out of bed around 4 or 5 am (since I am in CET (at least for now, not sure what it will be when DST comes for my part of the world too)). Do we have to start then? Or is that just a general guideline?
No, that is just a general guideline. So for you all the pages you read from 5 am are the pages that count. You don't have to start at the time it says.
Phew, that is good to hear. I was already worried I would have to get up super early. :) Thanks Jacquelyn.
Are you sure about that? ;) But nah, just kidding, you are all really nice, but just to be sure I had to ask about it. Didn't want to suddenly find out I had to get up early. :)
You're welcome. :) It would make a nice challenge though (maybe worth some extra dedication points?).
Well actually if someone woke up early they would be reading more which would most likely mean more books read which leads to more points. (:
True, that is very true. Though I can't imagine anyone getting up super early, unless they are really dedicated to the challenge. :)
Or unless they can't fall to sleep or something! ;) I know I won't be getting up or staying up to start at 12 AM my time because I have states test Monday morning and I don't want to be super tired for them.
True, that can also happen. :) Same here, if I am participating I will just get up at the normal time and not at 4am, especially since I have a busy day I need to extra hours of sleep.States tests? What is that? Good luck with those!
In America, every state has its own tests all the students have to take as part of an act passed several years ago to determine if the schools are doing a good job of teaching us. They're really annoying :/
Every year. At least, in my state we only have to take it in grades 3-8, but after that we have to take different tests for specific subjects. So many tests... lol
Yeah, every year grades 3-8. But this year I have to take all four of the tests when most grades only need to take 2: math and reading. I need to take math, reading, writing, and science.
Sarah wrote: "No problem :D On the bright side, we don't get homework on those days...lol!"Oh that is something at least. :)
Jacquelyn wrote: "Yeah, every year grades 3-8. But this year I have to take all four of the tests when most grades only need to take 2: math and reading. I need to take math, reading, writing, and science."o.0 all 4 for them in one go? Good luck Jacquelyn with all that.

So I have ideas for 5/7 days. Need 2 more!
Some will just have to be based on reading overall and not directly related to the readathon but I think it would still be fun and it would be a quick thing to give your eyes a little break! LOL!
