The next instalment of the series asks questions of myself, let alone readers! I have, quite deliberately, and with no sense of shame, looked at the facts, myths and other data about certain things. Finding that those researches rendered very unsatisfactory results, I have set much that is accepted aside. In one case, I have quite blatantly rejected 'fact' in favour of an alternative that suits my story. This raises questions: Is such 'mutating' of things wrong? Can it ever be right to discard centuries of knowledge and/or tradition for the sake of fiction? I know how I feel about it. I don't know how others feel!
I wonder...
