"I am right. And because I'm bored, I'll rant off the tortures Alec came up of. He burnt a woman traitor's house, crops and family alive and made her watch as they all screamed and died," Leo started, "Then there was an old man with his beloved crow-which was the last family he had left-who spied on the Simpcons and gave out information to the Freelancers. So Alec shoved a rusted, sharp nail into the man's hand and held it. He asked questions, demanding that the man tell him why he betrayed and what he gave away. Every time that guy refused to answer, Alec drove the nail into the bird's body..." Leo started ranting on about bloody and painful tortures, cringing himself.

Pausing to look back at his companion, Leo sighed. "Sorry, I was just...bored," he said as he rolled his shoulders, "Is there something we can do here? Besides talking and waiting for something to happen? Are we going to launch an attack or what? Though I'm not too keen on losing..."
"On where? The only place I know is the Base itself and everything, almost every detail, of it inside," Leo muttered, "It's impossible, really. To launch an attack on the Base? Suicide. No matter what you plan."

"Nah, I told you he can take care of himself," Leo said, whipping out his mobile phone. "Do you want me to call him and make sure?"
"Nah, I told you he can take care of himself," Leo said, whipping out his mobile phone. "Do you want me to call him and make sure?"
"Is that sarcasm? I can't tell," Leo muttered as he punched the numbers and pressing 'call'. "Mhmm, this is Leo Damon Giordano. I just wanted to check if my friend in there is okay. Do I get...let's say, two minutes?" Pausing, with a faint trail of a feminine voice leaking from the ear piece, Leo nodded in understanding. "Sure. So he's assigned to the Red Bridge? Uh-huh. Okay. Bye." Snapping his phone shut and shoving it back to where it belonged, Leo turned to Maisie. "Lara says Ruth's just fine," he said in conclusion to the short chat.
((I think I have to go now, bye.))

((Short comments only now...))
"What?" Leo demanded. "What are you afraid of?"
"What?" Leo demanded. "What are you afraid of?"

"Aw, shucks, Zena, you're embarrassing me," Renn said, giving her a kiss. "You flatterer, you."

(A glimpse of the Base activities...)
Click. Click. Tick. Tick. Breathe. Breathe.
Ruth, who was lounging on the couch, peered up and Alec, who was typing and typing lazily on the silver laptop in front of him. "Um, sir? It is apparently eleven forty-five now." Alec didn't bother looking up, he glanced at the clock beside him instead. "My alarm clock can tell me that," he answered, "Right, Alarm Clock?" Shaking his head, Ruth murmured, "Your clock may tell you the time but it cannot agree to anyone." Alec smirked, "He rings when he agrees with Lara that I should wake up."
"Do what again?" Leo asked Maisie, "Call him?"

"Of?" Leo asked, with a smirk. He didn't know if this was the right thing to be smirking about but oh well. "What? Zena getting killed? Ba-ha-ha, you worry too much."
"Fine, it's just that those stuff are normal. You should know about your enemies and my allies-which are basically the same as your enemies-are capable of," Leo said, grinning at her glare. "So, what now?"
((Sorry about taking so long, my brother's friend came over and I had to accompany them in their games.))

((No problem.))
"Maybe you should return to your tent to sleep?" Leo offered. "I'll just be prancing about 'checking the perimeter'." He turned away and crouched. His muscles started to shift and his hair grew longer into fur. Soon, an almost-wolf stood beside Maisie. Giving her a flick of his tail, Leo trotted off into the distance where he could pace about.

Shaking his head, Leo made his way to a big boulder not too far away from the 'camp'. Once there, he dragged a paw down the sand, writing Howler=Dog. He then used the same paw and drew a slash down the '='. Looking up at her through his wolf eyes for a moment before prancing off into a large loop around the camp, Leo thought about the last time he saw his Simpcon buddies. It was weird, after almost two years, he saw almost all of them in the same day.
Turning around and barking, Leo's eyes glinted like they would have if he was human and laughed. Waiting for her to catch up, he pawed at the sand, driving his claws into small stones and the sand. Drawing another word, Leo took off slowly. Hurry stood out on the golden sand that looked amber in the setting sun.
