I just finished the book tangled and I have to say "I LOVED IT!!!!" I loved the honesty from Drew, the emotions, and the humor. The way the guy thinks is crazy but so true. The book is honest when it comes to relationships and Drew is my new favorite character. He is definitely delicious. You can't help but love the guy.You have to read this book. It shows you how differently guys and girls think. Some of my favorite parts was the swear jar. OMG! I couldn't stop laughing. And his sister, I recognize her and get it. Man, this is the best book I've read so far and I have read a lot of books over the last few years. This one is at the top of my favorite list!

The buddy read runs through the whole month. So, read Tangled whenever you're ready, then stop on by and let us know your thoughts.
I really liked this book. Some of Drew's 'words of wisdom' were so funny and for me, true. I love this one- How many wives have told their husbands, “I’m fine,” when they really mean, “I want to cut your balls off with a butcher knife”? How many men have told their girlfriends, “You look fine,” when they really mean, “You need to go back to the gym and work out—a lot.” It’s the universal way of saying we’re just peachy—when we’re really anything but.,
My hubby knows that if I say I am 'fine' or that person is 'fine' or the meeting with our kid's teacher was 'fine' that it was anything but!
I loved that he straightened up by the end and learned a few lessons. I really like when the hero can grow up a little and figure a few things out concerning women.
The author wrote a little short that takes place after the book ends -

Ok, I'm only on Chapter two and I have found myself laughing out loud several times already...Love his witty sense of humor...."I said I don't ride the same coaster twice. But twin roller coasters? Let me tell you, no man would pass up a ride like that." Too funny!
This humor works for me too. Probably because I married a smart ass and raised a few more. I'm about halfway through and still laughing!

Oh, in my house the sister gives as good as she gets! And my DIL too, SIL can keep up if he tries and does much better now than he did in the beginning. This completely cracked me up -
“Apparently, I’ve grown a conscience. I don’t know when it happened, I don’t know how it happened, but I am not happy about it.
If I could, I would squash that Jiminy Cricket fucker like the roach he is.”
I was laughing so hard I was wiping tears from my eyes reading about thanksgiving dinner. Out of the mouth of babes....lol
I just finished it and Loved it a definite 5 stars from me. my husband thought I was nuts I was laughing so much so I had to read him some parts and he would just say "yep" or "smart guy" because he's so much like him it made me laugh even more.
Wow, I'm only a little over halfway! We were babysitting the grands today though and neither of them were interesting in letting me read - silly kids actually expecting Grandma to pay attention to them! Not going to finish tonight, but I should tomorrow.
I'm midway through the book and really liking it!
After reading all these comments I'm really anxious to start this, but can't see any way I'm going to get to it for several days at least :(
I just finished! Loved it! It cracked me up over and over. I loved Drew and Kate together. It was very different to get the guy's perspective like this and I really enjoyed how the story was told. And as much fun as it was - it was just as sweet. Perfect combination for me!

stayed up way too late last night reading this. Laughed out loud the whole time. loved Thanksgiving and the plan to get her back. At first I was annoyed by his teenage boy attitude but when he stood up for her at the account meeting with the jerk of a client he won me over. Very fun book
If anyone's interested Emma Chase wrote another bonus scene. This one takes place about a year after Tangled ends. What a Difference A Year Makes:

I finished the book just now. I liked it much better than I thought. In the initial 20%, Drew was such an a-hole that I wanted to slap him up. Then it picked and by the Thanksgiving scene, I was completely caught up with it. I couldn't put it down! I'm glad I read this book :)
So glad most everyone has enjoyed it so far! There's still 2 weeks left if anyone else wants to fit this one in....a great summer beach read :)
Well, GR just ate my original post and I don't remember what all I said, so I'll just say I finally finished and loved it, and will definitely be on the lookout for the next book in the series!
