Personality: Juliet is a stubborn, head strong girl who knows what she wants. But unfortunately, not how to get it. She's the kind of girl who's always asking questions and his persistent, but sadly not the kind of girl who would win a debate. She's tough though, and knows how to handle herself for the most part anyways. She's always carrying her video camera around her neck, letting it hang down, along with her little 'bugs' which are just small devices she keeps in her pocket to take DNA samples, capture things when she's gone and that kind of stuff. Juliet's always been a firm believer in the law and it's order. And was in the fence about joining law enforcement, to solve crimes. As well as being a writer. She's passionate about the things she loves and it shows in her work, she has her own little box of all the strange things that's happened in her life and works part time at a research felicity. She worked along side Dr. Robinson for a while, before stumbling across all the documents of the experiments. Printing copies for herself she's not determined to find those missing kids. Not for him, but for pure love of solving things. Though currently she has no idea where to start. She's danger prone and clumsy, though has stopped caring so much about that, along with what others think about her and her work.
History: Juliet was born in a city that had never slept, her entire life being rushed about for the most part. Her dad being an engineer, her mother a governor. To put it easy, she came from a well up to family. Well, well endowed. Though her family was far from perfect, her mother was never out, and her dad didn't make much of money just fixing broken things up and repairing things. Her brother was trouble from the smart. Starting off as a child who never could follow the rules till getting mixed in with drugs. She grew up being really close to her father, seeing as he seemed to be the only human like person in her family besides herself. She learned a lot from how, such as how to build robots, and how to write from emotion. Building things was the one thing that really did get Jewels interested into things, she liked how they worked and how to ticked. And over time the robot became more like friends than most of her friends at the time.
She also has grown to be in love with writing, and writing things that are strangely true. Things that most people would toss aside from junk, which is the main reason most of her writing is left in 'her box' which is fully of pictures and articles about things that are classified as out of the ordinary. She had fallen in love with the art, and was determined to get something printed. She loved showing the facts, which mixed in with the un canny way the camera had always ended to be either in her hands or pointed at her. So naturally, she had started off as a school news reporter. When her brother, Tim, had gotten heavily mixed up in drugs, and her mother founded to be cheating on her husband. Juliet's dad decided on taking her all the way over to America, wanting nothing to do with his family and wanting to keep his daughter safe. He's indreciably protective of his daughter and they live in a small flat, the both of them being from riches to drags. Her father works at the auto shop now, and Juliet spends most of her time in the city.

Personality: Max is very out going and loves to talk, a lot. He makes fun of his sister but he still loves her. He likes making people laugh and see them smile, he just loves hanging out with his brother and just loves pure life. He likes when his sister get mad at him and laughs has she tries to tell on him to get him in trouble, but, it does not work.
History: Max grew up in a house with mostly boys and he was fine wit that. Max grew up making people laugh and later on doing it every second. He just loved all of the funny people out there and laugh at every single one of them with his brother he loved just hanging out with his brother and sister. they would just hang out in the tree house there dad made it was the best times you did not have to worry about anything.

Personality: He comes off as a jerk, constantly pushing you to your breaking point. As soon as you reach it and stand up for yourself he’s a totally different person. He’s very caring but has a funny way of showing it. He keeps his emotions in because he hasn’t really had any way to express them other than training, so he expects people to do the same.
History: Had a relatively normal childhood up until his parents divorced when he was 9, he and his dad then moved to the safe house to protect and train the mutants. There his dad basically practiced training mutants on Mason. At one point they had a cat but ended up giving it away because it clawed Mason’s face resulting in him having a scar there, if anybody asks it was not from a cat. At the age of 16 he was a typical rebellious teenager and constantly tried to sneak out. His father became very sick and died when he was 17 causing him to be a bit of a jerk to people. He is at the safe house following in his father’s footsteps by training mutants.

Personality: Erica is always one of the people to know all the answers. She's smart, thinks ahead, and plans well. She's extremely protective of everyone she likes. Erica has a regal, elegant poise to her that says 'don't mess with me' and also makes men go crazy. She's a natural born leader, always calm. But all of this masks a tortured soul.
History: Erica had always aspired to be a scientist. From the time she was young, she had always wanted to be someone to discover new things. She was a nerd in school, and was made fun of for it. But she never cared. Erica was happy to be smart. In college, she met Edward Robinson, who also happened to love science. Soon, they fell in love, and married. As soon as they were married, Erica learned a disturbing secret about her husband. He had been experimenting on children and giving them powers since he was eighteen--he was three years older than her. And he made Erica help him from there on out.
So Erica became his slave. The one who had to do as he said. But six years ago, when she found out she was pregnant, she fled to Cairo and started up the safe house. She's had it being set up until now, when it's finally ready, with proper trainers, chefs, and whatnot.

Appearance:
Shay is a bit taller than average height with hazel green eyes, straight brown hair, and an easy smile. She has a splash of freckles on her nose, is lithe from use of the safe house's exercise equipment, and is usually dressed in jeans and a soft leather jacket.
Personality: Shay is pretty easy-going, but she knows how to keep a secret. She is quick to laugh and loves a joke, and is easy to get along with unless you treat her the wrong way when you first meet. Then it will take her a while to think about trusting you again. Due to the nature of her father's job, Shay is very trustworthy and is a great listener. She's stubborn, unafraid to put her foot down no matter who she's facing, and will tell you what she thinks to your face. She has always wanted to travel, but living and working in the safe house has made it impossible. She's touchy about that. Shay is great about making people feel at home. She usually puts all other people before herself.
History: Shay's mother died of cancer when she was only two years old, and her father never remarried. So she has been raised by her single father for as long as she can remember. Five years ago, Shay's father was offered a position teaching in Cairo, though the exact nature of the "secret" position he was offered was not revealed to him or his daughter until he accepted the job. He did, and he and Shay moved away from Florida to set up at the safe house. Shay likes her new home, but for years now she has wanted to go back to Florida and the water and to visit other places. Instead, Shay has been homeschooled. Her father is her usual teacher, but she has learned other things from the other teachers, instructors, and staff, and spends plenty of time online to keep up-to-date.

Other: Shay loves chocolate, and knows who to schmooze to get the good stuff around the safe house. She's waiting for the day that the "mutants" start arriving, because no one her own age lives with them right now. Not only is she ready to see their powers in action, but she's ready to spend less time alone.

Auburn hair, brown eyes, tall and well-built. Slight scruff. He doesn't smile so easily since his wife died, but his daughter, Shay, can always make him a little happier.
Personality: Nicholas has never quite gotten over the death of his wife, so he's quieter and less likely to strike up a personal conversation than he used to be. He still appreciates humor, though. Nicholas got a teaching degree in chemistry and physics, so he is well-read and clever. it is not hard to tell that he's lost someone close to him, but it is also not hard to get him to speak as long as you don't stray into what happened to him in the past. When he is with his daughter, Nicholas always seems to have a little less on his shoulders. And while he taught her to have the personality that she does, Nicholas is not quite as easy-going as Shay is now. As a teacher, he is soft-spoken but firm, and he receives respect from his students without having to scare them into it.
History: Nicholas and his wife, Anne, had been high school sweethearts and married before they got out of college. They were both teachers—him science, her math—both loved children, and they spent many nights planning their entire lives together. Shay was the only child they had before Anne was diagnosed with cancer, though what neither of them ever told Shay was that Anne was pregnant and lost her second child. That death, too, is one Nicholas never quite recovered from. When Anne passed, Nicholas continued his work and raised Shay as well as he could. He always thought she was missing the "woman's influence" in her life, and thinks that has gotten better since they moved to the safe house. He took the job because the ghosts of his wife and lost child haunted him during the years he and Shay lived in the same city in which the rest of their family died. They have spent the last five years living in Cairo. Nicholas continues to raise his daughter to the best of his ability, but he's a little happier, if lonelier, since moving.

Personality: Ryan is very laid back. He usually just lets things go, and comes along for the ride. Ryan is one of those calm and collected guys that is always serious. But not really. There's a joking demeanor in him, too. Ryan is always tense and ready to run, yet somehow looking relaxed at all times. He's the kind of guy you want to pour your heart out to, and will drop everything to comfort someone. He is insanely overprotective, and keeps a watchful eye on everyone.
History: Ryan was a pretty normal kid growing up, but his father always seemed odd to him. He was always on long trips in Cairo, rummaging around in pyramids. Odd, right? Well, when Ryan turned sixteen, his father took him on one of those trips. Turns out his dad wasn't an archaeologist like Ryan had thought he was. His dad was the second in command of the safe house at the time. He'd wanted his son to have a normal life. So Ryan learned all about the safe house and the experiments, and now watches over the LA mutants. His father died three years ago, so there is no longer a second in command of the safe house.

I wasn't talking to you when I asked to make her a mutant. There was another character that I was talking about. Last name is your choice. You probably should make her a mutant, though, because we don't really have much left to do with Normal people...

If you are going to make her a mutant, you need to switch threads and pick an unclaimed power (check power claims thread.) The power is your choice. Follow the template there to create your character.

History: (at least five real sentences.) Cal was born in LA and has lived there his whole life. His life was fairly normal until he turned eight. His mom wanted another child but couldn’t have anymore, so his parents adopted a little girl, Taylor. She was only one year old at the time but to Cal it was clear she was different. No one else seemed to see it though so he said nothing. When he turned eighteen he wanted to move to London but his parents died in a terrible accident, leaving Taylor all alone.
