K, their have been billions of debates between these two characters but share what you think. Please take each point into carefull consideration.

Edward is a better boyfriend/husband, Jacob is a better friend.
jacob!!! (edward only started to like her cuz of scent, in my opinion)

I liked Jacob but in Eclipes he went too far by kissing her when she was practicly engaged. I agree with Alli- GO JASPER
Edward definatly because, yea Jake was fun in New Moon and he looked after her but he was a jerk. he got really arrogant and annoying in Eclipse.

I explained earlier onthis discussion :))) but u kinda have to read all of my comments on this discussion to get all my reasons :)

My reasoning:Jacob is still very sweet, he is just rude because he has different ways of trying to protect Bella then Edward uses, he is always good for a laugh, he is lovable, and could even make Bella feel happy during New Moon
O.k. Emmett is the best but I'm for Edward. Jacob is a stupid jerk who is a bully and thinks that he's all that.BUT I do thank him for all he did for Bella
I would definitely rather be with Jacob. For a couple of reasons. 1. Jake is very much the kind of guy I like. He is a very good friend. He cares a lot about the girl he loves, he has a good sense of humor, he is very hot (in the book), and he is caring and a nice guy and also a "manly dude" lol and he is also very solidly human like myself. I could go on for a while though :P
2. I think Edward would drive me crazy. He is very over protective and only ever does what he thinks Bella wants or needs. I'm sorry, but I need guy with opinions and his own sense of self. Yeah he needs to care about me and love me, but not follow my every move and only ever care about me and nothing else. He is obsessed. It almost gets to a point where it's harder to see love because there is so much obsession there. Don't get me wrong, Edward is a great guy and altogether too perfect, and too fictional.

In the books he does show a lot of intelligence. And at which point was he ever a bully?! A jerk..well...that's quite a matter of perspective.
And Edward and the other vampires guys don't think they're "all that?"
Oh and also, this isn't really on topic...But one of the lines Edward had in the movie was "I like watching you sleep"
Is that not creepy or stalkerish at all!?!

Jacob hasnt lived for 100 years. Also Jacob knows that he was going to loose Bella, but he couldnt help but hope that she'd come back to him. It was like Bella thinking Edward wasnt going to come back, but she couldnt help but hope.
i have to agree with jen-jane. and def go with edward. :) but still liking me some jasper ... movie wise, hes sexy when he hits that ball in vampire baseball .. SLOW MO!

ya, i guess at first, but it got kinda annoying after a while. I disagree in the fact that Bella did the same thing though you also have to admit she wasn't in the right mind at that time. She realized he could ever love her. She accepted it, that was why she believed it so quickly. The only problem was that she realized that she would never see him again and so she tried to make those pictures in her head. Hear those voices. I mean, all it got Jake was a broken hear, a punch in the face (kinda), two kisses, and Edward wishing with his whole heart to kill him asap.

Well, for me, it's Team Edward, but when people say they are TE, are they taking into consideration that he stalks her, and watches her sleep?

I know girls love the fictional guys who are what real people can't be (i.e. Edward).
But the truth is that isn't what real people are like.
But bella's human, and she never tells edward or jacob that she would rather they die or that she hates them or anything
No, she doesn't. But she does say things she doesn't really mean.and also, she's not a guy :P
and that's just not her personality at all to say things when she's like upset or anything (which she rarely is, anyways)
Ya know I'm kind of having a dilema because I was ALL for Edward in the books and I hated Jacob (just because he was portrayed as a bad guy) but now that the movie has come out, i LOVE Jacob and I don't find Robert as a great Edward so now, I'm rooting for Jacob. Anyone with me?
