it was set in current times, like 2000's, i think
-boy was orphan, girl rich (i think)
-fell in love, possibly got married but not sure, but her parents, specifically her father, made them separate.
-boy moved to america, became super rich and famous, think he's a famous businessman but also assassin/fbi/military guy?
-has stunning girlfriend/fiancee who later gets killed.
-girl from england does some sort of research position at university, has boyfriend/fiancee
someone is trying to kill the girl because of something her father discovered or is covering up?
a hired assassin attempts to kill the girl but kills fiancee instead.
hero (from america) finds out about attempt to kill the girl he used to love and he goes to protect her. meets her, tells her she's in danger and takes her on the run, goes by eurostar to somewhere, possibly france or germany?
takes girl to his penthouse in america, she's kept hidden there. whilst there, she starts working out and losing weight and also dyes her hair red. (creating new identity)
at one point assassins, or whoever is after her, find out she is in penthouse and go after her. in that scene, to escape them, she jumps from the terrace/roof onto roof of another building..
hero find her and they go on the run. while on the run, admit that they still love eachother and get back together...
cant remember ending..
one of the antagonists, possibly after the girl, is a lady assassin, who in one scene kills a guy by scratching him with her nails which are covered in cyanide or something...
this lady antagonist also kills the hero's american fiancee and takes her engagement ring.
when hero finds this lady, he knows that she's the one who killed his fiancee because she was wearing the ring before and the ring was engraved and left an indentation on the lady assassin's finger...
that's everything i can remember! help!
