How do I delete misspelled author's name?

I added the corrected name Clover Autrey to the author list, but cannot delete the wrong one (Clover Autry). Also I need to delete C.A. Czarek and C>A> Szarek. The correct name to be added is C.A. Szarek. (I think I couldn't add the correct name because I put in > instead of periods when I added the correction.) When I tried to delete the incorrect names, the word ERROR kept coming up.

Rivka, There's still a problem with the author listing.
C.A. Czarek should be deleted. I added the correct spelling: C.A. Szarek, and put it in the correct order via cover order.

The delete needed (C.A. Czarek) is now the last name listed.
